I think 8 million is a lot for Briductt and Dunk! Could sign a proven premiership player for that!

Re: Brighton duo

Dunk is worth about £300,000 and Bridcutt is for sale for £4 million.

Palace are after Bridcutt but Steve Parish says we are being unrealistic about the price. That made me laugh as when they sell players they put multi million pounds on all their players.

I doubt our chairman would sell to Palace anyway as it'll cause uproar amongst us fans.

If zaha is worth 15 million then bridcutt must be worth 10 million. Palace are a joke of a club and hopefully they will be relegated by Xmas.

I hope your right about them gone by xmas, just hope they get spanked again at Anfield 9-0 :ayatollah:

Personally I think Bridcutt is worth £6 million and so do many other people I speck to. Only 22 and his holding role is second to none, he constantly breaks up the opposition play and is so consistent that he's the fans player of the year for the last 3 out of 4 seasons.

He can not only break up play but has an eye to pick out wingers and create attacking opportunity's. Prem teams might think that's a lot to fork out for a champion ship player and could be a risk but he's only 22 and has proven himself at the top of the championship. Besides Prem ship teams have more money than ever.

He can only get better playing in the Prem playing with good players and a good manager.

It's all about opinions and that what makes football forums great, whether you agree or disagree. I tend to lurk around this forum and read most threads but really don't participate in discussions unless I see threads regarding my club then I jump in and engage.

I must apologize for my outburst the other week when I said f**k off you Welsh Cunts. That wasn't directed at the majority of the posters on here but the minority, well two or three really.

I come over to speak football and I do enjoy this forum and do realize that I'll have some banter regarding our club and I had that the other week and I don't mind but what I do mind is when I post in a thread and the only reply I get is: Poof, fagot etc.

I wouldn't mind if the homophobic posters could muster an intelligent debate within the abuse but they can't, just idiotic one word reply's.

Understand all of that mate. :ayatollah:

Is Bridcutt going to stay? Haven't seen anyone make a proper approach?

That's the question we've been all asking ourselfs. He's out linch pin, holds the team together. Now Gus has gone then clubs just can't come in and speak to our players whereas before Gus aloud anyone to, like yourselves with Noone etc.

Gus only allowed that to cover his own arse, well what I mean is that Gus allowed this practice to continue under his reign because then it would be impossible for the club to stop premiership clubs speaking with Gus, ie, Reading speaking with Gus at gatwick airport.

But now Gus has been giving the boot and now we have Garcia in charge then the old habits of yeah, you can talk to who ever is firmly out the window.

So that brings that back to Bridcutt? Will he stay? My personal opinion then yes he will because of our new manager but money talks.

Apparently we've only got £4.5 million to spend and if we want any other players then we must sell first so make of that what you will.

4.5 million to spend?

When MM was first here he had only under 10 players and he bought wisely and cheaply and we got 6th and CC final.

I am not sure how much we fully spent but we found gems like Gunnarsson, Mason, Taylor, Turner.

As we've got Garcia (Coach for the Barca 'B' team) in charge then he'll not be looking at any British players what so ever. He's in talks with Barcelona on trying to bring in (I know this sounds stupid) Carles Planas.

'Oscar Garcia, coaching head at English club, Brighton will seek to muster strength to his connections for Catalonia to encourage his new project towards the summit.

In a number of days he will meet Eusebio Sacristán at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamperto to discuss available selection for loan or transfers at the Barcelona B.

Brighton are with a transfer budget of £5m euros and must sell to buy subsequent. But Garcia will look to buy left back Carles Planas in a bold and probable plan to give the English football he desires.

Plans to ask for loaning Gerard Deulofeu show unlikely as reported by English press but Planas to sign is expected' Ten Caps for the all conquering Spain U21 side. Two appearances for the Barca first team last season.

And Garcia is looking to bring Deulofeu - Barcelona on loan, but Spurs and Liverpool want him. Garcia has fantastic contacts in Europe so exciting times ahead. We couldn't afford these players but on loan with other Spanish players with Garcia playing the Barcelona way? Don't rule it out. :malky:
