Just been released by Villa but still wants to play in the prem.
Would have good experience but does anyone think he is the type of defender we need?

Not for me. Think we need a quick & pact defender in the Barnett mould rather than a player like Dunne.

Fully fit dunne would be perfect but he has had his fair share of injuries last few seasons

Now here's a realistic signing that we could grab. Big fan of his actually, and he'd be affordable wage wise.

Hull City are reportedly prepared to offer Richard Dunne an instant return to the Premier League this summer.

Dunne missed the whole of last season through injury, with Aston Villa deciding to end his four-year spell with the club as a result.

The 33-year-old made his comeback in a pair of games with the Republic of Ireland last month and is now searching for a club ahead of the new season.

Tigers boss Steve Bruce is thought to have some concerns over Dunne's fitness but would like to add the central defender's experience to his newly-promoted squad on a free transfer, according to the Daily Mail.

Derby County have also admitted an interest in securing Dunne's signature, but the defender is reportedly desperate to remain a Premier League player.

His pace is deceptive ... he's even slower than he looks!!
I hope not.
