Available for 5 million apparently. Linked with Sunderland. Worth a bid?

Not if we get wanyama

If the Wanyama link is true then I dont think we would need another "inforcer" type player.

If it isn't true then maybe worth a punt.

4-2-3-1 with Wanyama and Huddlestone holding, Kimbo playing just ahead of them with Bellamy and Ince wide. Cornelius upfront.

Scott Parker is also rumoured in papers today to be available to leave spurs , I would rather him to be honest but huddle stone is a decent player :ayatollah:

I like that formation, but I think Gunnarsson is going to be a hit in the prem and rather him play alongside Wanyama.

Don't know where Whitts will fit in mind?

Think Whitts will spend a lot of time on the bench

I think Kimbo will be that player to be honest.

Huddlestone would be a great alternative if the Wanyama deal doesn't come to fruition.

Very similar to Whiits. He is a good passer/ has a decent shot and can play through a decent ball. He also has premiership experience.

However due to the fact he is very similar to Whitts where would he fit in?. Better £5m spent elsewhere (defence). :malky:

Imo whitts not good enough for prem
Had a chance with villa not good enough then thats how we got him cheap
Kimbo our star man in our creative roll now whitts just back up :ayatollah:

Personally I think Huddlestone is awful, although I would take Parker. I must have watched Spurs 10 or 11 times towards the end of last season and Huddlestone most often stood out at as one of the worst retainers of the ball

He was 22 when he signed from Villa, who were European challengers at the time. To say he "had his chance" with them is a little harsh. He's at least 5 times the player he was then
