Hooligans??? Premier league?

Fri Jun 28, 2013 9:51 pm

So lets debate it and get it out of our system!

All that travel with the city know deep down that its still hanging around!!

We got one pop at spending a season in the big time!!!!

Teams like

Man U
Spurs
Chelsea
Swansea
Stoke

Let's all be honest now!!! They are flash point games on a big scale with a big audience!

What's everyone's thoughts??!

Will we get bubbled up? Will our fixtures be changed?

It will be interesting to see how we are treated

Swansea - bubble.

Chelsea - restrictions.

And most other PL games RV points.

My opinion.

Everyone knows it is still there, i think a change of stadium, successive promotion failures, financial problems and rebranding just dulled lots of spirits, also being so close to promotion no body would dare risk a 3 year ban.

There is lots of tension and alienated fans atm, if we have a bad season and it looks like we are going down. that will be the end for lots of people until we get our blue back.

therefore they will think why not re-ignite some of that old rivalries we are going down anyway ect..

Gents,

I do believe next season we may seriously have to be on our toes, some clubs may be out for us, without a doubt, but we will have to look after ourselves, and we are more than capable of that.

If we end up in a pickle, well I'm sure you can sort it out. There is a massive downer, denial just now, it doesn't exist....really we'll see next season.

If a bunch of like minded lads want to get together and have a ruck, it's ok with me, Just hope we can still cut the mustard!

Soul Crew Ltd has been created at Companies House. We're working with the military to get in some proper gear and 25 of our members are experienced Welsh Guards. We're setting up a donation fund within the next week hopefully to raise enough money for a massive blue tank. If all goes smoothy and we raise enough then we can just drive straight through RV points without a problem.

Blue Army. :malky:

Completely agree. Stoke will be well up for our return, will certainly be an RV Point trip.

Gonzo, Agree with what you say, likes of Stoke will have some serious restrictions on us, and as a regular away traveller it will be an interesting season.

100% agree. There will be some looking to provoke us now and test the water after all this family club stuff. Others wont have taken notice and will still think we are up for it. I do think there will be a minority who'll retaliate unless the police impose strict restrictions. We need to remember that if we retaliate and drag ourselves down to the level of others we only go on to ruin it for ourselves in the long run as tougher sanctions will be put in place.

Some new CCFC fans will be in for a big shock next season at clubs like Everton, man Utd, Chelsea and Spurs etc, brilliant can't wait, happy days are here again :ayatollah: :old: :ayatollah:

Looking forward to seeing what the big away teams bring to the ccs, my fear is that great teams like Spurs, Everton, Chelsea etc will be as sterile as we have become. Ahhh for the old days.

We have done so much to change our image over the past 4 years or so.
This season will test us to see how far we have come.

No doubt though, many old heads elsewhere will be looking at us and thinking "I owe you one".

Our image for a number of years is we are relatively successful and play a decent standard of football. Unlike a number of years ago when we were shite and had a good number of retards dragging our name through the mud.

I know what I'd prefer.

I honestly dont see it being that bad.
Most Premier League clubs have moved on.
At our place, most wont get tickets and when we go there, yes they will turn out, but most of our lads wont get tickets.
The times of the matches, the expense, banning orders, prison etc, I dont see there being that much trouble at all, maybe 1 or 2 games.

Needaticket ifyou don't like the discussion then don't read it.

Its a genuine thread discussing the possibilty of trouble in the PL which I think is a garuntee to happen

Re: Hooligans??? Premier league?

Sat Jun 29, 2013 8:20 am

The most trouble involving a welsh club will be at Newport. They have rovers, Pompey, Plymouth, Exeter, Cheltenham and Oxford all fairly local and all of those have small hooligan elements. There will be a few scraps at our games in town centres but thankfully there won't be anything in the grounds. I bet we have no more than 5 Ccfc fans arrested at the ccs and 30-40 at away games (mostly for alcohol)

Re: Hooligans??? Premier league?

Swansea and Chelsea will both be bubble IMO.

Stoke will have restrictions.

And most other clubs will have a RV point.

Other big firms have decreased in numbers just like ours. If you want to see some aggro, go and watch Newport.

I'd prefer it if you didn't slag off Cardiff City fans. Understandable, if you're not one, though.

I think you may well be wrong their annis.

I think sky tv does a good job to make their 'product' as family friendly as possible, they sweep the rest under the carpet.

I visted old mates a few years ago in liverpool and we went to watch everton v sunderland. Mayhem outside the ground. In the pub later a few everton lads said to me they hope cardiff go up, and not for our football. Right bunch of scallys.

A lot of these clubs fans still see cardiff as the cardiff from 20 years ago. They don't know or care about family club of the year stuff. I don't think it'll be to bad but people should have their wits about them. A lot of our newer fans are used to us outnumbering fans in the championship, it won't happen strolling around goodison park etc.

The newbies should take care.

some fixtures are more like an event mate than just a football match.swansea for obvious reasons, maybe one or two others.spurs are active or were so im told but for the reasons you stated trouble will be scarce.also the wales/england thing aint a big thing.sure you will have a good time whatever happens football wise.i went to chelsea about 06.we only took a few hundred new yrs eve.they just opened the gates and let us out.it,s quite sanatised in the prem.

Our image is many things mate, but a joke is not one.
Recently we have been praised by several quarters of the media and police in the manner of which we have sorted out our own issues.
We have won awards and had several non policed matches.
Compare that to what we used to be like?
The days of the past are exactly that..the past.
Any club with a decent group of lads know all to well, when called upon Cardiff can masse numbers like no other firm.
The younger gen coming through are living off past reps, just look at Bristol's attempt last season. Good numbers yeah, but no game lads... All youngsters who bullied the staff and broke the furniture of the pub they were drinking in(they claims a result in their eyes  ).

Chelsea Everton Spuds Stoke Mancs and Gypos will all be problematic.
