Standard of the Danish league

Only ranked just below the Belgian league and people are raving about strikers from that league..

Think people are too obsessed with stuff like this rather than concentrating on the potential, he could only beat what was in front of him.
And looking at some of the goals he scored I don't think the level of opposition would of mattered some quality finishing, looks comfortable on the ball and good first touch and skill for a big man.

Fair point!

Henrik Larrson springs to mind. Always had a stigma of "Yeah, but anyone can score in Scotland..."

Never mind the Champions league he won with Barca, along with all the other honours he won, the umpteen goals for Sweden. He was, and probably will always be remembered for his time at Celtic, including a couple of league titles against a strong (at the time) Rangers, couple of cups, UEFA cup final etc.

But f**k all of that, he was playing in a Mickey Mouse league, so there...

The telling point for me was that he clearly knows where the net is.

It doesn't matter what league you play in the goals are always in the same place and you need to position headers into the net accordingly. He knows where the net is

Agree with both posts above.

Anyone remember that ivanovic header for Chelsea in the Europa league? Saw a similar one Cornelius scored..a few free kicks whitts bellamy and Kim would he proud of (and David Beckham come to think of it )

never mind being the foil for maynard/campbell to score this fella can get us 15 himself and if his partner can match it, with goals from midfield and defence also expected we will do alright.

Sticking by 12th.

I think 12th is a good shout. I think we will surprise a few people.

I agree - so long as he can score... He will keep on scoring...

Look at Rickie Lambert - how many people thought he would keep up his storing record when in the Prem? And he did a great job, more goals than many established names.

I don't want to get too carried away but, I would even go as far as to say that if this lad has got as much potential as they say he has, and Malky finds a way to tap into it. We might find ourselves with a player that is not just the envy of the Premier league, but perhaps even the world! :malky:

Time will tell but some exciting times ahead! :ayatollah:

His heading of the ball looks absolutly fantastic.

I see a lot of potential in him but don't expect him to score a lot in his first season, that's why I think Malky is looking for another striker as well. he will hold the ball up well, get a few goals and more assists along the way but to some this is a year too early to buy him, some won't understand the logic but he could have done with a year more in the Danish league, he only scored four goals in the second half of the campaign.. That was from a bitter Brondby fan though. But I have high hopes on Cornelius. With the right players I predict a 15th placed finish
