Has he passed his medical and signed?

Thu Jun 27, 2013 6:47 pm

Only once in the last 5 years or so have the official site put a signing up that was not true..I think it was the Leeds thing, can't remember but it was only once.and they are usually later than everyone else to make certain its accurate news...this signing went out early and was said to be subject to a medical, which seems strange to me unless it 100% can't go wrong...other than failing a medical....so does anyone know if he is our player for certain?

hes signed subject to passing his medical, so if he fails medical deal is off

I thought it was strange to announce before medical,be dissapointing if he failed and didnt sign, looks quality

If it's not confirmed tomorrow I'd be a bit worried, dunno why the club would be so confident to put it in the public domain then be made to look silly like that

It just says

Cardiff City Football Club have today reached an agreement with F.C. Copenhagen for the services of Andreas Cornelius, the 20 year old striker set to join the club for an undisclosed fee on completion of his medical.

Surely just waiting for the media to take photos of him holding up the shirt, the interview etc now?

Yes, you are all probably correct. It has just gone quiet on Sky and Talk Sport for such a big signing...I suppose once its official there will be more fuss.

Your quite right Corky .. The wording seems a little risky

Wording on ssn when I was watching ealier was that "Cornelius has signed for Cardiff city for an undisclosed fee believed to be between 7-8 million" they wouldn't say signed if he wasn't signed :malky:

Of course he is our player, he has signed subject to a medical, so no one else can sign him and if and when he passes his medical he is our player, he is not going to sign again after his medical, because HE HAS ALREADY SIGNED

Banging my head against a wall here HE'S BLOODY SIGNED.

ONLY FAILING A MEDICAL (wich he won't as he's just finished a full season and is f*cking fit) Would cancel the signing..

Paul

Thankfully we're not dealing with the Cardiff City of old, who set themselves up for several falls from wankers like Jody Morris, Marcus Bent and Wayne Routledge

Things have moved on from there and the club wouldn't have released it without it being signed and sealed. I'm told he had his medical this afternoon

Good stuff, will look forward to seeing him play alongside Maynard or Campbell

Don't get it, I thought he had it today according to CityGent? Scuse me for worrying but while it's not signed, sealed and delivered, any party could pull out right now, whether it be club, player or agent.

Unless it is done and for some reason we will announce a double signing on Monday?
