With City now more prominent, the transfer rumours have been more outrageous and fictitious than ever before but there are a number of confirmed reports of players we are interested in and with whom we have spoken to either the club or player's representatives.Bafetimbi Gomis, Tom Ince, Wanyama, Cattermole are all widely reported to be 'close' to agreeing a move but as anyone in football knows - that means virtually nothing.
Malky is incredibly thorough, and the calibre of our reported targets necessitates that he will have to work hard to show our ambition and potential so there are bound to be a high number of disappointments especially when compared to other potential suitors like Liverpool who also showed striong interest in Tom Ince.
There is plenty of time to bring in new faces, but it is widely recognised that the earlier you can establish a core of players and give them time to 'gel' as a squad - the better. We cannot affort to start the season slowly, once you are a couple of points adrift it becomes incredibly difficult to play catch-up. Hopefully there will be some movement this or next week to nicely build the anticipation and add to the promising squad we already have.

I think your right mate every1 is so bored the season is over we just want something or some good news to get the blood pumpin lol
I would, fella, and I am a little surprised given that we weresupposedly 'first out of the blocks' following our early promotion, therefore gaining a start on others. However, on balance I have enough faith in Malky to believe that he will do 'what is right when it is right' and that may mean us being a little more patient (which, as I said, is a pain in the butt for us all, as we want a signing per day to keep us going! LOL)
