R9 for me, his goalscoring instinct was unbelievable

CR7 only because he's been the only standout player to me whilst watching football, taken away by him, the skills he can do, how accurate he can take a shot etc, his documentary he done with Sky really made me admire him. Would love him back in England

For sure! He has everything! The perfect all round player

Also R9 was in a VERY strong Brazilian squad which helped raise his profile, Messi and CR7 havent got that quality around them on the international stage so it's harder for them to really show it at major international events

Very true! He was round good players, no Ronaldo hasn't achieved well in the international stage but he's been their standout player, he's what Bale is to us, he carries the team, they have individuals that have quality but no way near enough as Ronaldo. R9 was always around good players. Unfortunately I can see CR7's next club being PSG, which isn't bad but I'd have loved him back at United/maybe at Chelsea, just because I've never seen him in the flesh. Great player.

The original Ronaldo, without doubt. He has scored goals for fun in Brazil, Holland, Spain and Italy. I just wish he had of played over here when he was in his prime. I think that he would of been even better over here and the way football is played over here, it would of suited him down to the ground.

There was and always will be one Ronaldo and that one is the Brazilian one. Without a shadow of a doubt.

CR9 easily. World Cup record scorer. Would absolutely destroy defenders in Spain nowadays, espeically if he played in this Barcelona team.

Both Ronaldos will be known as world class players in their generation, I think they're both amongst the greatest players ever but R9 edges it. It's easy to forget already just how lethal he was in front of goal. Having him in your team pretty much guaranteed success.

R9 was better IMO. If they both played at the same time then I think that most would agree with my assumption. If you compare the records as well you can see a how good R9 was.

His record was class! Most deadly finisher I ever saw

Brazilian ronaldo. The way he came back after the 98 worldcup final farce, to go on and put things right and star in his countrys worldcup success in 2002, scoring the 2goals in the final etc is one of the greatest comeback stories in the world of sport imo.
