What's that lad Tiendelli like - available on a free

Wed Jun 26, 2013 7:25 pm

Rejected Swansea's contract offer and we need a couple of full backs.

Any good ? Can't say I took much notice of him.

Also...
Apparently they are after Bony (which would surely rule out Gomes - although they are being asked for £10m by Arnham and apparently Newcastle and Everton are also interested), Redmond (both Norwich and swansea have had £2.5m offers accepted) and Vydra (on loan - Sunderland, West Brom and West ham also in)

I wasn't impressed with Vydra at the end of the season, but he looked good at the start. maybe as part of a bigger squad he could be a good loan signing. Bony i know nothing about, (apart from he's got a cool name) but he's scored shitloads of goals and Redmond is a decent prospect. Looks like they are beefing up their squad well with a load of Spaniards coming in too.

Its going to be an interesting next 10 months for both clubs it seems. :malky:

Good going forward but his defensive qualities leave a lot to be desired, which is a bit of a concern for a full back.

Will be a decent signing for someone though.

Cheers.

Think we might have a subject here that we won't be arguing over the details

It's definitely a position we need to sort.

What are your thoughts on the others ? Bony would be ideal for us here IMHO.

I think Dutch players in general are less of a gamble as the Dutch have great English and seem to settle well all over the place. Also superb technically.

And yes I know Bony isn't Dutch.

The Jacks were bragging about him playing for dutch last week.

This week his defending leaves a lot to be desired

I don't really know much about Bony other than his scoring record which is impressive. Signings from Eredivisie coming to the Premier League tend to be a bit hit and miss though. I keep thinking of Afonso Alves

I'd be very happy with Redmond at £2m odd and it seems that we're offering Kyle Bartley on loan as a sweetener to Brum. Young, potential and hardly breaking the bank.

A loan for Vydra would also be a decent move, not costing much and beefing up the squad as you say.

Along with Canas and Pozuelo from Betis and Jordi Amat from Espanyol, that would be a decent early start to the transfer window.

He's got many strengths and will be a good signing for someone. Defending isn't particularly one his strengths though.

Every time he played for swansea last season he did very well, but with n taylor fit again dont think he would hold down a first team place, would of liked him to stay, but i thinks he knows there are other really good full backs at swansea and knows he would spend most of the time warming the bench.
