Extra 1m paid to West Ham for Maynard

Originally the deal was worth 2.75m but since we got promoted, we had to pay a 1m promotion bonus.

Surely there was a games played clause added? Ie promotion after he played x amount of games?

We had a number of winding up orders from people at the same time as hmrc. Tan paid hmrc but I'm sure I read loads on PR using future income upon promotion.

You may be right but I would be surprised if we paid £3.75 mill for Maynard. More likely to have been £1.75 mill up front with £1 mill after promotion. Although, you could be right.

I am sure months before we got Maynard or some time when we got him this was made aware of on the board.
