I would have took Davies and Figueroa, we're in need of defenders and we've only been linked with an 18 year old from the French second division.

agree with the above, i would have had both defenders here, as they are both better than what we have currently.

Boyd did well for them at the end of last season, and is a player people off here wanted to sign.

does age matter? kuyt is 33 but we are linked with him?

Personally think Davies is much better than Turner, probably just edges Hudson for me too, though i wont worry too much about not getting him if we bring in some quality there.

I have to agree here, Hull seem to be stockpiling championship or perhaps in the case of Figueroa Premier league level squad players. Like Sunderland have shown last season, this is not the way to go. You need a few game winners like dare is say it Michu....

I would have liked to have seen Davies come here. Be good competition for what we've got - his fellow pros rated Hudson better than him, don't forget and personally I think Turner will flourish next year when he's got to concentrate for 90 mins. However Davies would have been decent competition and I'd say a bit better than Barnett.

The other 3 would have been OK if we were still in the Champ, but not good enough to keep a side up in this division.

Put it this way - these signings haven't made a whole lot of difference to the bookies odds of Hull staying up.

Davies is a ideal player to go for in any of our positions to be fair.
