Every news paper across the land saying that Southampton had a bid accepted blah blah but then Carl did say we had a bid accepted of 10 Million. But i know Carl doesn't put info out he believes to be incorrect as it will come back to bite him, and a matter like this one he can only be right. The papers will obviously want to play down a move as like there doing with Ince.

Celtic won't receive a penny of Southampton's money if the Saints can't agree to the players personal terms and although we may have bid £2m less we can match the wage demands and therefore Celtic would get the cash.

The stumbling block for Saints is the £1m payment to his agent.... if they were offered £12m then they would be better off paying the agent themselves on behalf of Saint and banking £11m than accepting your £10m

Maybe we are offering more upfront thats more appealing to celtic. Saints maybe offering more if they include add ons such as staying in the league, a gamble that Celtic may not want to take. Nobody really knows

All the papers are clearly stating the problem is with the wage demands of the player. Agent fees might be a side issue as well but DONOT make up the full picture.

The same as Gomis. Doesnt really fancy Cardiff or Swansea. Neither club has enough pull.

Personally, i wouldn't touch the player with a barge pole, regardless how good he's supposed to be!

if hes after ridiculous wages then no thanks ,let him go to a club willing to pay silly money....and as one post said at the end ...NOBODY REALLY KNOWS !!!!....and that is correct.
