" Gus Poyet Speaks out after being Sacked "

Sacked live on air.

Gus Poyet sacked by Brighton yet in the studio at the confederations cup..

Gus Poyet
just heard from BBC that he is fired from his manager position at Brighton. As he says live on tv, he still never had any info from the club about it... he just talking about it 'I think BBC have a great story because manager is getting the news of his employment being terminated during the time of the program is quite surprising (...) I still did not receive any text or message on my phone, so it's up to you (BBC) on the timing. Probably I am first in that position as well...'

I think the Brighton fan on here was saying he tried to walk away from his contract and join Fulham without expecting the club to stop him.

He was also saying he was planning to leave after they lost the play offs.

And here I was thinking Brighton were a classy well run football club.

Live on what?

Re: Gus Poyet

He is doing pundrity on the Spain v Nigeria game on BBC3 and the homos have released a statement saying hes been terminated.

He had been suspended since the play offs. He had a go at the board over not backing him as much as he liked and a go at the marketing team for handing out paper rattles without his consultancy.

It's Half-Time on BBC3 for Spain v Nigeria (very good game btw) and Brighton announced he was sacked during the first half.

Gus reacted live on air.

"Gus was told earlier today" (he denied that)

"He has the right to appeal" (he said he would)

We all knew he'd been sacked and so did Gus himself before he went on air for the BBC. Anyone buying the "Gus didn't know" line is an absolute chump.

The timing was agreed between club and Poyet. Perhaps that even saved us a little money with a pay off. Clearly he would have wanted to look like the victim and that's exactly how it turned out. Definitely not news to him. It's been stage-managed throughout.Look at all these chumps buying it and slating the club.

He has the right to appeal and of course he would say he would on Air as like above he wants people and clubs to think he's the victim in all this but he'll lose his appeal if he decides to go down that route.

Gus shouldn't of disrespected the club and disclose things on air that are private and has a clause in his contact forbidding to reveal such things.

Now f**k off Gus you c**t.

I tuned in live on BBC3 to watch his response and he is seriously fucked off at being sacked. He thought the club needed him more than we needed him. He thought he was so f*cking great it was unbelievable.

He flirted with any club that showed any interest and banged on week in week out how he wants to mange in the premiership. Towards the end of the season he even said he'd like to manage Leeds as they are a massive club.

He got away with these remarks with impunity and that gave him the green light to think he was above our club until he made his fatal comment which is disclosing our budget for next season on TV and sending all staff an e-mail saying he'll not be here not season and refused to deal with the retaining squad of sort out the players out of contract.

Any club that puts a gagging order in someones contract obviously got things to hide. Wrong uns.

We all know there's more to this than the strange on-air revelations tonight. Its like a staged act. And those B&H lads sure do like the theatre more than most (apparently).

Anyway, some of their front-line top boys are absolutely furious and are now looking for an off. They pm'd me earlier and while I'm no shrinking violet, I'm not messing with these lads:

i feel for bha at the moment. I thought they had a good chance last season, good team, manager, big crowds. Then not only do they see their biggest rivals beat them in the playoffs, they got promoted too. we know what that last bit feels like, its not good. Not only that they lost a good young (maybe a bit to ambitious) manager. I have no doubt they will get a good replacement mind. They might well swap places with palace next season......

Got to agree there. Looked stage managed to me. I find it hard to believe that the decision was made at 8 pm on a Sunday night.
They would have been in church from 6.30 until about then anyway.

What exactly happened?

The sacking isnt a surprise but being informed by the production team whilst he was a pundit on a live match is a first.
