All seemed to be going well, but it seems to have stalled, one minute it looks really promising, next seems to hit a brick wall.

Deal is not till 2016 like some fans think, even Allan Whitly agreed that, that is not the case no more, since the new deal was struck up and signed with Ridsdale and agreed by TG.

So no debt to equity/debt free club yet.

Another meeting is now scheduled for 2nd week in July, fingers crossed.

Fairplay Annis that is good choice, no point in saying anything because it all gets twisted.

It is always going to stall because it will always be hard to keep contact everyday etc when VT is trying to promote us more etc.

Hope they come to an agreement soon, what a team we'd have and to clear the debt then wow what a month

How have you come to that conclusion?

I did say this before that it could all go bad or take a turn for the worst. Oh well, people will never listen. Wont be long before the onslaught ensues and Carl gets a tonne of stick for his previous updates. He brings it on himself at times.

Better to just leave it and let the money men sort it. When its done we'll know as it'll be actual news and not gossip. If fans ask for updates just tell them that its being done professionally and there are none.

The only thing we know is that the debt is not due to be paid until 2016.

So all that can happen is offers are made and Sam either accepts or declines.

There is no blame anywhere. Both have the right to wait until 2016 and both have the right to make or decline offers and suggestions.

I find it strange that these two have been talking for so long, with only this to sort (paying the money back), even staying over at his house im sure i remember, showing all the the training facilities etc etc and yet there is still no resolution near.... You'd think they both must know where each other stands on this by now....

I hold no respect for Tan the (business) Man.

For all I know -his gambling with my club could be genius.

To me though. If he undestood the impact of his actions on us fans -then he would give us an olive branch. In this case. Stop the rising debt and do the Sam deal.
Perhaps he could earn respect.

The truth more like -is Tan is a Billionaire Busnessman engaging in the club we love as a little bit of his current empire. None of his actions to date have shown a bond with supporters

Most of us fans think its as simple as VT going to a cash point and withdrawing £24m to pay Sam off. The business world simply doesn't work like that and VT will be looking at the best possible way for him (& ultimately the club) to pay this debt off.

I'm sure this prospective stock exchange float may have something to do with it and may be some hitch has arisen there? In any case the Langston deal has to be settled as part of the rebrand deal and VT knows that.
