Would Cardiff be telling the media that they have agreed a fee for a player that they haven't got tied down to a contract?

These stories come from either Blackpool or the players agent. They are leaked in order to get other clubs to jump in or shut up. Just like Southampton and Wanyama, we are being used.

Not to say we cannot get Ince but there could be a many more twists and turns in the story before he's stuck on a treadmill.

I see your point but agents etc tend you use clubs with paper talk I'd say, normally when sky sports announce a bid to be accepted for a player normally that player signs for the club pretty soon after
