Turns out a fairly routine bit of maintenance last night turned into a right pain.
Anyway, we're now back up and running, and with the new server in place there should be no stopping us!

My original bookmark,still doesn't work. No biggie as I linked from the main page and updated my bookmark. There may be people still unable to get on IF they are using a bookmark.

What happens when you use the bookmark?

Unfortunately, a large number of ISP's still don't seem to have updated their DNS records, so that when people type in cardiffcityforum.co.uk they are still directed to the 'old' copy of the site.

Normally it is fairly quick to update, but those that aren't able to view the site just need to be patient and wait for their internet providers to update their settings.

It's not ideal, but we didn't have much choice really.

I used to get a holding page, headed as the forum but stating that maintenance was ongoing. I have a different bookmark now.

What I want to know is how was Annis putting thread links up on Twitter when he couldn't actually get on his own board.

I can only access this site if I click on a link from facebook, if I log out now close the window and reopen it will say currently under maintenance still ?? any ideas?

Try pressing ctrl+f5, or otherwise deleting your browser cookies/temp files should solve it.

It should fix itself anyway.
