Certain Elements of our fan base will have to adjust that we are no longer one of the bigger teams in this division.
We got away with it in the lower leagues but now we are a premier league side, not only are we a premier league side,but we are the only side in this league that has never been here before. Palace and Hull both have previous in this league.
Now if Palace were to pip the signing of Tom Ince from us (all hypothetical) many fans would blame Malky and probably point fingers at posters in this forum also. But the truth is that we could've lost the player simply because Tom wanted a team that had played in the Prem previously and couldn't turn down the chance to pkay in his nations capital. You could also add the ex manager into the equation.
Either way, just because we have the money does not mean we can spend it.
When you count the millions a manager like Sparky wasted at Citeh and QPR,I for one am quite pleased we have a Manager that is more prudent and thoughtful with his budget.
