How about you learn to accept that things can always change within a split second in football and stop spitting your dummy out? What can Carl do if he was told some exciting news that has failed to materialise at the very last second? Get his magic wand and make the good news happen after all? Grow up!

Or maybe carl was just speculating..

Not a dig at the bloke, but i don't personally believe he knows all that much of what goes on. Fair play for coming on here and sharing info he does, but it never seems to be anything that someone else dont know....

If im wrong im wrong, but the club dont seem to let out much so i dont know why with the way malky does things now he would let sme bloke off a mb thats not any more important than any other city fan, why he would let all this info fall into his hands..

why dont we test it, carl can pm some of the mods with a list of names so the date and time can be seen in the pm, send it tonight..and we will look at the end of the transfer window how accurate he is..

Praise him when he deliver's and slag him off when he don't . That's the norm on here ..
Personally i don't know why he put's himself in that position, he makes himself so open to abuse.

Is that aimed at me?

Im not abusing him, some people hang off every word, but i dont fall for it myself, that dont mean im abusing him just means im not of the opinion that carl is the level of itk he makes out...

I think Carl would admit he isn't correct all the time and I just appreciate the news/rumours he tells us. Personally I think it's pathetic how the same people demand news, then when the news isn't 100% accurate slag him off! Carl only tells us what he's told from others and as I say, things can always change in football. Give the man a break and be thankful he's willing to put his head on the block to inform us the best he can!

Not at all. My point is, He is only trying to pass on info he get's but he leaves himself wide open for abuse.

In his updates Carl often refers to having known the information days before he puts it out on here but delayed doing so at the club's request.

Indeed in the days of "Publish and be dammed" he often got 'dammed' for "tipping off other clubs/agents/whoever"

That might explain why he doesn't put out so much info as he used to.

I did say fair play for coming on and sharing what he knows..

read my other post..

It's just my opinion thats he's not that itk as he would like people to think, nothing wrong with that.

Make yourself a target someone somewhere will try and shoot you down, put yourself in the limelight and someone will slag you off its all just human nature.

I also said im not having a go at him, i can be proven wrong though and would like to be, while shutting me up it may also stop a few others who have a go at him constantly...

pm with a list of targets with date etc on there..cant be denied then.

Or it could be due to the fact that some of the people he got the info off are no longer associated with CCFC?

OR....

he says he knew the news whilst in reality he was just waiting for news..

Malky was scouting veliknja from his watford days yet carl knew NOTHING of it..surely he would of if he was itk?

You lot continue to be guilable and fall for it..

I remember once TLG ripping into Carl and slagging him off because Carl got the day of the week wrong for a meeting between TG & Sam Hammam.

The reason for the delay was a change in travel arrangements from Malaysia by TG.

It didn't matter that the important bit was correct (the meeting), the cardinal sin was stating it would happen on a Tuesday instead of Friday.

Honestly some people are so petty.

That is supposition not proof.

OK we both have a theory and it is down to opinion which one we believe. I believe he definitely is ITK but chooses not to put every bit of info out there because he doesn't want to harm the clubs transfer ambitions.

You may well be right and common sense would tell you that the lines of communication have changed over the past few seasons as senior staff have changed.

But there are still plenty of people who work for the club who were there in the 'old' days and I'm sure he gets some inside info from these people and others.

I once remember someone posting that if you hung around the club car park long enough you would definitely pick up some kind of inside info

Everyone knows the pitfalls of modern day signings. One second its on then its not. That ain't Carl's fault. To much is expected of him these days TBF. Chill out when we make our signings we will make them :malky: :malky: :malky:

Obviously not carls fault, only an idiot would even think it was. Feel for him in one way, but then again if your happy to take the plaudits when things are good you got to expect to take a bit of shit.

Lesson here for Carl would be not to say "2 in the bag" "announcement on players this week" nobody made him or pressured him into saying it he freely volunteered the information and would of loved the "nice one Carl" replies if it happened.

Don't try to live up to a reputation, if you have SOLID info that you feel is ok to post then do, but these updates promising the world and not delivering are brought on by him and not the people having a pop.

Imo a lot of it is stabbing in the dark, brush it off if wrong, laud it up when right.
