Transfers

I have always stated that i think Mackay has a belt and braces approach regarding the transfer market, but i am beginning to suspect that our owner has put limitations on what we can offer top players regarding wages,if this is the case then Mackay could well be hamstrung in his quest to bring better players to the club....if this is indeed the case,Tan must realise that to be able to sustain our place in the Premiership,he has to understand,if you pay peanuts you will get monkeys..........

Last season, games were already under way before we finished our signings. We were the best side in the division and won the League by 8 points. 10 points clear of the play-offs. what bit did Malky got wrong last season? your the one who slagged him down every single day am i right? you were wrong then so why are you starting up yet again

my dear angelis, it has come to my attention that you seem to possess a wonderful talent of talking an enormous amount of shit. Based on these findings I would like to ask which academic institution you attended so that in the future I can make sure my kids do not attend such a place. You mention peanuts and monkeys but the only peanut I see is within your cranium. Its unequivocally obvious that you possess the IQ of a tortoise and one does really have to wonder if you are in fact mentally slower than Malky in the transfer market....this is my greatest concern. I do worry for you my dear angelis and I urge you to call the Samaritans for help.

Regards

MiMG.

My dear bluelikeyou .........there is a world of difference between the Championship and the Premiership, what worked for Mackay last season may not be enough this season

Malkys buying prinsciple is spot on. He sells the Club to the player, sells his ethos, his ideas, his ambition for the Club and explains where the player he's talking to fits into the plans. What he gets in return is a comitted driven and focussed player who is proud to be part of the ''group mentality'' that Malky has instiled in his squad. You only had to listen to our players talk to be left with no doubt that they were all ''in it together'' You only had to watch them play to see they were willing to sweat blood for the cause. All Malky is doing right now is geting the same type of players on board grafters who are honest and will earn their wages but also as he has more money to spend they will be a higher standard than some in the squad. praps a bit more flair and guile. but they will all know they have to earn their money before they sign. if they dont sign. then they are wrong for the club
Last season you said we would not get promoted with Mackay. you were wrong. You said he was not the manager to get us to the premier league. you were wrong. wanna give us any indication as to why anyone shuld listen to a word you say?

"If you pay peanuts you get monkeys" has to be one of the most cringeworthy lines on the Internet.

If everyone agreed with each other on here it would be a very boring Forum indeed, but to those who find my postings distasteful,i simply say this................DONT READ THEM...no one is holding a gun to your head to read or respond to my postings...as to user names,of course you can use whatever name you choose as long as its not offensive....but i must say i am finding it difficult to correspond seriously with some one called "malky is my God ...........maybe MIMG can answer this direct question...will he still use this name,if and when Mackay leaves the club?

Yes because hes the manager who got us promoted and for that reason I will forever respect him. I would also wish him the best in his career and im not stupid enough to think hes here forever. He has every right to use us as a stepping stone as we have benefitted from his service also.

Im find it had to communicate with someone called angelis, the name of a classical group put together by Simon Cowell who ironically has the same fashion sense as our owner, Mr Tan. Do you wear your trousers up to your neck as well my dear angelis?

Forums/messageboards - people have opinions, post them, and other posters ether agree or disagree. The norm then is for a healthy debate as to why the o/p come up with his original opinin. So come on Angelis. You say that Malky is not the man for the job. You said it all last season. you have always said it. The EVIDENCE is of a manager determined to leave his stamp on this club in terms of the infastructure, players, training, scouting, youth set up, diet etc etc. He set out to build a squad of workhorses. Players that will run themselves into the ground when they dont have the ball. But tempered that with flair, skill, and giule. Bellamy, KimBo, Noone. It was a perfect squad for the Championship. We pissed that division. Along the way he made mistakes, but LEARNED from them. He realised the 4-5-1 wasnt working and started to press teams more so that we started defending on the edge of the oppositions box. Thats why his stock has gone up considerably and not down. Can you show us EVIDENCE that Mackay may not be up to the task in the Premiership? (bearing in mind you said the same about him in the Championship) Cos you could carry on like this for years. Eventually Mackay might hit hard times many managers and clubs do during they career. what are you going to say then say in ten years if City have finished 14th, 12th, 11th, 8th, 7th, 7th, 6th, 5th, 4th, 6th and are suddenly struggling in 17th place "Oh i was right all along"

My dear Malky Is My God............my user name is based on a tv character, who if i remember correctly was a vampire who still possessed a human soul,i would therefore advise you to improve your research technique, as it sadly let you down on this occasion
