Thomas Ince

If the 8million quid rumours are true about us and Ince, I'd much rather us pay 8million on a proven PL goalscorer to be honest.

we can get ince and a proven goal scorer, where premier league now and with that comes a lot of cash.

Ince has huge potential though and I think we would be lucky to sign him ahead of other teams. He's probably the best player outside the prem. Scores a load of goals for a winger and is lightning quick with good feet.

Young as well hence the large price tag. I think he's the type of player we should be looking to bring in if i'm honest.

i agree,he's quality.
I'd love to see him sign for us.

I'd want him to sign for us yes, I'm not say I wouldn't. BUT I would rather see us sign a proven Premier League scorer ahead of him.

To be honest I would be ecstatic if we got Tom Ince and Darren Bent, even if it takes up the majority of our budget. Tom Ince rarely loses control of the ball running at pace on that cabbage Blackpool pitch so imagine what he can do on a good pitch? Tom Ince will turn out just as good as Ashley Young, if not better imo. If we could get Ince to give us creativity and goals from midfield plus Darren Bent, we will have the goals to stay up. Remember, defenders are cheaper than attackers, plus with the option of bringing in a few good frees and loans, I think we would be fine.

Agree with that to be fair, mate. :ayatollah:

We need a winger and a striker, something everyone on here is aware of.

We can buy ince (or hal robson kanu or a target nobody even knows we are looking at) and a striker, as well as a few defenders.

Mix of big money signings with a few cheaper options and some free transfers..

So would I, but considering you've said Darren Bent - a proven PL goalscorer - is "shit" in the past, I don't think you really know what you want. :?

Re: Thomas Ince

Buy Ince and Bent 8 mill each. Get in a new RB. A CB for cover and another CM for cover and I think that would be enough for us to stay up.

No, my point is you want a proven goalscorer. Darren Bent is a proven goalscorer. When suggested before, you said he's shit. That's all.

I don't think that he would be the right choice for us. He's not the only proven PL goalscorer.

2 players I would enquire about as both have been told they are able to join another club..... Scott Parker and Defoe. Parker would add the quality and protection to the midfield and I doubt Defoe would cost anywhere near bents price... Plus he is a proven goal scorer.

I'd have them both in a heartbeat if possible. :ayatollah:

Cardiff move ahead in race for Blackpool starlet
Published on June 20th, 2013

Cardiff City have raced ahead of Liverpool and Crystal Palace in the bid to sign Blackpool’s Tom Ince.

The Daily Mail has reported that the Bluebirds have agreed to meet Ince’s £8m asking price – however the road to Wales isn’t straightforward for the England U-21 star.

Touchline Talk reported that Crystal Palace could sign the player ahead of interest from some of the Premier League's bigger sides, but it appears that the Championship winners have stolen a march on them as well.

Liverpool have an option to match any bid for him under the terms of his move away from Anfield to Bloomfield Road two years ago.

Complex contract

And, under that contract, the Reds have a 35% sell-on clause, which means that they could bring the 21-year-old to Anfield for a reduced fee of £5m.

Meanwhile, Ince’s teammate Matt Phillips has attracted less attention as Hull City are the only club to have made an enquiry into his availability.

Cardiff are also interested in singing Lyon man Bafetimbi Gomis, but face competition from bitter rivals Swansea City for the striker.

Intense competition

The newly promoted outfit has already submitted a bid for the 27-year-old, and now the Swans have put in a £8.5m offer for the Frenchman.

Gomis has only one year left on his contract, and much will hinge on whether or not either side can afford his wage demands of £3m a year.

Cardiff have also enquired into the availability of Feyenoord midfielder Lex Immers.

Good signing but given that amount of money, I'd rathe MM went for Joniesta.
Him and Kimbo in the middle would create plenty for Maynard, Campbell and Gestede.

Joinesta nowhere near as good as ince at the moment, no goals in joinesta where as ince has bagged plenty and more experience aswell would make the step up to the premiership a lot easier than joniesta imo, I think people on here rave about joniesta and I think he's overrated just cos he's welsh

If we get Ince and Bent I'd be extremely happy, Malky can get a few bargains/frees on defenders for sure, some good players out there. Go on go get Bent for the goals and Ince for creativity

I would be happy with Ince and Bent. Just hope signing Ince isn't due to trying to make a point and just throwing money around the place.

You certainly have a point on the goals front. Although in a poor attacking Blackpool team, Ince had to be greedy and have a go himself. Credit due to him though for scoring that many whilst starting wide. Ala Whitts.

I see Joniesta as more creating chances for others. Maynard and Campbell especially. Admittedly I've only seen him on the telly, but he looks a cracking prospect. Thought he stood out as one of Wales's best players along with Bale and Ramsey.
I think he'll turn a few heads this season for Palarse.

Joniesta for f**k sake.

Jesus wept. Grown men calling Jonathan Williams f*cking Joniesta.
