Got to work for the rest of his life ..ah love him .so have we !!! and at best he was average ,guy couldnt even tackle sums up why hes been playing in football outposts !!! should've saved some of the thousands he was on a week when he was with us .

still better than Darlington. Weston at least knew when and how to put a ball over the stands...
remember thoses myths back then: "Darlington is far better than Weston, Ardley and Cooper are superior to Kavanagh and Lee and Ferretti are better than Thorne..."

I know, it does make me laugh when footballers come out with this quote about how they have a short shelf life and how that have to make the most of their earnings while they can.
We would ALL like to leave school, do a few hours a day, some days a week and get paid enough so that only after a few years of doing this we could spend the rest of our lives on the beach drinking cocktails.
Footballers are so far from the real world. There are plenty of lads out there who work 40 hours a week for minimum wage and play football on the weekend for fun.

exactly ,with the money he earned from us if he used his head he would have been in a better position.

I'm being pedantic but I am sure Ferretti arrived in summer 2005 after Thorne's departure to Norwich.
Ardley and Kavanagh overlapped three months tops and Cooper arrived a few months after Kavanagh had left

I know...but that was the argument, all those new players, according to quiete a few Sam lovers, were far better tha the oes we've had before... when it was obvious they weren't
