Best fixture list we could hope for !

Wed Jun 19, 2013 7:47 pm

Couldn't have come out much better

Decent winnable start against west ham
5 of last years top 6 in the first 7 home games so we can get them out of the way early !
Man utd and arsenal after champions league fixtures
Tottenham just before Europa league game
Swansea home on a Europa league week IF they make the group stage and away on my bday weekend :D
Chelsea home last hopefully they will have other things on there mind and the league will be over :ayatollah:
6 of the last 7 games I would say are very winnable
2 home games over Christmas and New Years in London partying :D

We couldn't have asked for much more to be honest :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Love our run in

Hard start but id rather it be against the teams we have than start off losing to shit teams, like you say get them out of the way if we pick up a few points and put in some good performances could work in our advabtage then when wwe come to play the so called lesser teams...every game will be hard in reality but got to love our run in from febuary!!

I thought they looked awful to be honest. I've got us down for 9pts max from the first 14 games. It will be very difficult to get off to a positive start in the first half of the season. It gets better from December onwards but unless Malky can keep everyone's chins up heads might drop. If Tan is impatient Malky could be gone by December and a new manager would have a far easier set of fixtures. A bit like Adkins and Southampton last season.

The start is important for confidence, If we lose to all the top teams at home in the first seven home games it could shatter our confidence. Personally I would have preferred an easy strt to build confidence, but I suppose on the positives, maybe we can catch them cols before they get time to get to the best, and we might be the unknown quantity??

Still it is what it is, let's all give it a good go amd get behind the team, like never before :ayatollah:

I'm quite disappointed personally. I was hoping for more of an exciting start and an easier end to the season.

Doesn't make a difference to me because we got to play them all anyway

Man City & Everton both have new managers so it might take time for their players to adapt to new training styles etc, which we could take advantage of. Also for all the teams who we play early on we're an unknown quantity so that might work in our favour. Let's hope we can get some early points on the board :ayatollah: :malky:
