Nobody will want Cardiff away first

Just seen a Man Utd fan say on the BBC live text, that he wouldn't want us away first - doubt many will.

What we need is a good start to pick up a win in our first few games - look at QPR last season, didn't win for months.

Cmon, be realistic here, most teams will want one of the promoted teams first game. We are, until we prove otherwise, 1 of the 3 weakest teams in the division.

I'd love it if we got you guys home or away first or the other two promoted sides. I think many others will have the same thoughts.

I think we could be a tricky first game for any of the teams at our place, we are very much an unknown quantity in the premier league and like you say, the whole place is going to be up for it along with our club and players. I do think however, that most teams and fans in the premier league would look forward to an opening day fixture at our place, due to the fact we are a new team having never played in the premier league before, and a new trip and stadium to visit, with the city of cardiff having a reputation as being a top day out for visiting fans of any sport. If indeed we are at home first game.

Every game in this league is tricky.I really can't see why established PL sides would care too much about travelling to Cardiff.Palace maybe.
