How is it dense? We will play 38 league games next season therefore its a 38/1 chance we get any of those 38 fixtures. Theres no more or less chance of getting one or another of the fixtures.

they have released some league fixtures because of the 125th anniversary. 125 years ago stoke, everton, villa and west brom were in the top division. so i would not be surprised that those 4 teams play each other in some way on the opening day.

The leak was proved to be fake. It showed the full list of premier league and football league opening day fixtures but the football league then released 6 fixtures for their 125th celebration which was totally different to the leak showing its a load of rubbish.Wait till 9 am tomorrow peps not long

There you go then. Was only someting I heard so thought I would pass it on. It would be great if it was Spurs home or away. Living in hertfordshire now so it wouldnt be to far for me to travel!

Clubs are messages what they would prefer and with that feedback, there is a fixture list built so that it incorporates the club's desires as much as possible.

Some clubs don't ever/very rarely play home at the same time/away at the same time. Eg Cardiff/Swansea

If a club is home on Boxing Day they will be away on New Years Day & vice versa..

Christmas fixtures are designed for minimal travel.. But derbies won't be held around then due to the limited resources & manpower eg policing.

All very meticulously planned.

I have seen this leak and it is definitely wrong because the Championship fixtures don't have the already confirmed Burnley v Bolton & Derby v Blackburn games.

Agreed, no way will it be at start/end of season or around Christmas. Probably November & February as it usually seems to be.

Yes, rivalry is normally the reason why that occurs.

Load of nonsense anyway, we will hate Swansea and vice versa just as much on the 1st week of the season as the 10th.

If the rumour is that we have Spurs at home and Chelsea think they are away to Norwich, we can scour the net for other rumours and see if the full fixture list tally's.
