I don't see why anything McPhail said would effect his decision.

He is bound to know he will only be back up and even then competing with Connally as the back up.
It wouldn't surprise me if he didn't have a pay rise or even offered a pay drop due to being back up.

Spends loads of years in Cardiff, family settled in Cardiff, even though he's lost a bit of ability, you won't meet one Cardiff fan who respects Kev, but yeah Mcphail moaning about not playing despite his health holding him back is going to affect Kev, if Kev doesn't sign it which I highly doubt then oh well, we'll move on

He's probably still away or something im sure he'll sign once hes back. This will probably be his last and only chance to have a game in the Prem even if he is more of a squad player next season

Either he wants to experience the Premier League with us or he wants to play regular first team football. Whatever Kev chooses, I think he's done enough for this club to warrant our respect.
