The lads at 'Built on Sloper Road'are as we speak in the process of recording their first podcast of a new series. When Dean at BOSR mentioned this to me it was uncanny as I was only thinking about the concept of a Cardiff City podcast the other day, and as the majority of top flight clubs have them, i think its a good idea that this type of forum is available. There will be plenty to talk about I'm sure as topics are the least of a Cardiff fans problems

As CityGent has stated, we have huge plans for this pod/blog and over the coming weeks, we're going to have some excellent guests on there. We want to give you as fans what you want.

Left a lot to be Desired for me. Very poor sound quality. Couldn't make out speech at some point & no real "podcast" feel to it, eg sections of show/sound clips/no "jazz" factor... Just sounded like listening in on 4 blokes talking about the football.

May I ask, how did you do this? I'm guessing over Skype? It may help if you had everyone together. (although I appreciate that this may not be possible).

There's going to be some obvious parts that will need to improve but only time will do that. I'm very happy with it and it's only going to get better.

Already have a great guest to come on next week which will be announced tomorrow. I respect all feedback for sure good or bad. We've had some amazing feedback so far but as I say, good or bad, it's all welcomed. We're gonna keep going, keep improving and a building on each week.

Isn't that essentially what a podcast is? People talking about something, casual and natural?

Also, If you include too many jingles and sound effects, it'll lose the whole 'professional' feel.
There were sections. Transfers, Q&A, Players in and out, maybe we need to define them more.

This was a trial run, we know what we need to improve on and we will continue to improve week in week out.

We appreciate all feed back whether good or bad and we take everything on board.

It was our first trial pod, the four of us are new to it, we were never going to get it 100% right.
We want feed back to know what we need to change and what we could add or take away.

I think we've done a good job and we know what we have to do to amend the errors we've made.

Yes it is. If you do it via the mobile site, rather than the app. It's only temporary while iTunes authorizes the pod as genuine, then it'll all be downloadable via iTunes.
