Stadium Expansion 38k or 42k ?

can anyone clear this up preferably carl... one post states that it will be 42k and another 38k ? any ideas people ?

The situation on the stadium appears to be the Echo reporting just up to stage 2. (38k). The 42k is the next stage and involves filling in the corners between each stands extension form what i see.

I'd expect both these stages would depend on demand/survival in the Prem.

We barely sold out 20k in the championship, i'd like us to get settled in the premier league before we start expanding. I think we'd easily sell out in the premier league but will the plastics stick around for the bad times?

What's the potential for a 60k seater stadium? I'm not saying we'll need it anytime soon but there was definite talk of it before.

Was that just foundation work that would require major building work? Or can they just chuck a third tier all round?

We have got planning permission to take the roof of the stadium off to expand the stadium to 60k.
