Why not us rather than villa or Fulham ? Villa were fighting relegation all last season ,gets on my wick that our own fans are so negative ,apart from the top 6 in the premiership the rest are no better than us

Not negative , just realistic.
The two clubs metioned ARE better than us at present , as are a lot of the teams outside the top 6. If you think otherwise , I fear you are in for a rude awakening.
With some shrewd signings and a great squad spirit I am sure we can hold our own as a team next season but anything above the bottom 3 must still be the priority in our first Premier season.

Feyenoord have moved to dismiss reports that midfielder Lex Immers could be on his way to the Premier League with Cardiff City.
The top-flight newcomers had been linked with a move for the 27-year-old, but the Eredivisie side insist they have no intention of allowing him to move on.
Cardiff boss Malky Mackay is working to bolster his squad after securing promotion from the Championship, but may be forced to look elsewhere.
Feyenoord's technical director Martin van Geel says that they have not received any approach from the Welsh club, and would reject any bid.
Van Geel told Voetbal International: "Lex Immers is not for sale. He is crucial to our way of playing. The same counts for Graziano Pelle.
"We want to keep these players and otherwise any negotiations will be hard. That is the advantage of long-term contracts instead of short or loan deals."

Cardiff City's hopes of signing Lex Immers from Feyenoord have been dealt a blow, with the Dutch club insisting that the player is staying put.
The Eredivisie side's technical director Martin van Geel said that they have not received an approach from the Premier League newcomers, and will reject any bid that is tabled.
"Lex Immers is not for sale. He is crucial to our way of playing. The same counts for Graziano Pelle," Van Geel told Voetbal International.
"We want to keep these players and otherwise any negotiations will be hard. That is the advantage of long-term contracts instead of short or loan deals."
Immers has scored 12 goals in 30 appearances for Feyenoord since joining the club from ADO Den Haag last year.
