Scott Sinclair

Mon Jun 17, 2013 12:01 pm

Would city fans welcome him, If we bid and got him. Or do we have enough wing players.

Don't know if he would come but I would love to see him out wide for us :ayatollah:

I'd definately welcome him , the type of player we need, really can't see him coming to us though

I'd take a punt for the right money-as long as he promises to score a hatrick against the gypo's

Re: Scott Sinclair

Mon Jun 17, 2013 12:04 pm

wouldnt want him ,nowt to do with him being a jack, dont think hes good enough, had a decent season in the championship but got found out in the prem and then took a squad place knowing he was hardly ever gonna play at man city and when he did get small chances did f**k all, much better out there than him.

Re: Scott Sinclair

Mon Jun 17, 2013 12:18 pm

didnt he have a good season for swansea in the prem though?

problem might lie in the fact he hasnt played for a full season really.

Re: Scott Sinclair

Mon Jun 17, 2013 12:21 pm

Wasnt to bad but when you watch him he was read easily and barely took people on or went past them,he was poor in the olympic team,im sure theres much better out there for us than him.
The man city move was a strange one at his age why would you move when you knew you were not gonna play ,he went simply for money and to be at a big club, doesnt say much for him trying to establish himself.

Re: Scott Sinclair

Mon Jun 17, 2013 12:35 pm

I think the Man city move along with many other players could have tucked his career right up now. Ridic wages and out of the loop games wise. Would have taken him from swansea or on loan to us last season, not so sure this year though.

Re: Scott Sinclair

Please god no. Swansea fans couldnt believe their luck when they got 8m for him.

Pretty much sums up my opinion on him.

I will add that the move to Man City may have had something to do with his missus though!

Re: Scott Sinclair

I'd have him just to piss of the jacks. He could score against them kiss the badge and do the :ayatollah:

Re: Scott Sinclair

Mon Jun 17, 2013 1:29 pm

Dyer was better than Sinclair in the PL. Hes stronger, better link up play and better work rate.

Re: Scott Sinclair

Mon Jun 17, 2013 3:00 pm

If he's committed to the club I see why we couldn't offer him a contract. He's a decent player would be a good attacking option :malky:

Re: Scott Sinclair

Mon Jun 17, 2013 5:14 pm

You a welcome to him.

We were calling for him to be dropped long before he was sold, but he was Brendans favourite. All he does is run down blind alleys with his head down and end up losing the ball with far better options around him... and missing the odd open goal week in week out.

He single handedly got you promoted so shut up FFS. Without him, Reading would have took you to pieces.

Sorry, are you saying you will be playing Championship football or Premier League football next year? I hear Jay Bothroyd was pretty good in the Championship too. Im sure hell jump at the chance. Also see Adel Taraabt

Sinclair is gash at Premier League level. simple as that.

I agree with you on that but you slated him overall when he was your best player for some time by far.

Well he wasn't, hence why he never won player of the year for us or players player. Dyer was way better than him in the year we got promoted and even further ahead of him in our Premier League debut season. He wasn't even our best winger at any stage, let alone best player. He scored a lot of goals in the championship, many from the spot. So did Danny Graham for Watford and hes one of the worst Premier League strikers ive seen. The difference between the two leagues is huge and as I said initially, you are welcome to him because he is gash... unless you are intending on plying your trade in championship, then hed be a decent addition.

Ask Wigan, ask Swansea, ask Chelsea ask Man City.

I dont want him here. Hes ex Jack and hes not big enough to come to a capital city team like us. However, he'd get straight back in your team easy because you're a small club.

We don't claim to be a big club. We do however claim to be a good club, unfortunately for your Sinclair theory.

If you think hed replace Dyer, Hernandez or Routledge then you are crazier than Joey Barton and his brother combined

Great Championship player whose Premiership career was undermined by his poor first touch. Jacks don't want him back.

you were talking sense for a while there then the little boy inside came out yet again , do you realise how childish that sounds :D

It's the worst kept secret in football that the arab owner of man city told mancini to buy sinclair for whatever price swansea wanted because he wanted a first hand look at scottys misus tits.

that is quite some statement, so what sort of quality do you expect cardiff to sign for you ,you will do well to get big names there unless you go down the qpr route.

I hope not, his missus is a right stinker absolutely hideous almost retarded looking.

Re: Scott Sinclair

Mon Jun 17, 2013 8:58 pm

Once he realized the full backs were a lot quicker in the PL he seemed to lose confidence. No more knocking it past his man and swinging unchallenged crosses in. He became pretty ineffective for us in the PL to be honest but it's not to say he won't come again as he's still young,23/24 ish.
