Bellamys book

Haven't read it all but on the Speedo chapter, great to hear them say they both wanted a 'Welsh-born player to be skipper'. Kind of restores a bit of faith I have in Wales in Football. Ashame the FAW ruined that.

Bale should be skipper NQAT but in Williams defence he is a good leader, and gives his all for Wales. More so than some of the Welsh born lads.

Adam Matthews for instance, always puts his head down and goes hiding when hes having a mare. Serbia away being a prime example of this.

In all honesty I don't know who I would go for. Nothing against Williams and he does fantastic for us and does give 110% but just always preferred if the captain was Welsh, I can go along with everything else.

Agreed on Matthews, never really redeems himself for Wales.

Great to see the positives of when Speed took over, felt the same as players the way Bellamy goes on about the amount of people who wanted to play more etc.

Loved how he grabbed Joe Allen and Neil Taylor and told them to not sing the anthem, legend.

Interesting to read what he had to say about chopra's betting and checking his phone at half time during games and not listening to the half time talk, until they hid it and he went ballistic and then threatened not to go back out for the 2nd half !!!.....jones really had no clue how to run that dressing room, bellamy sussed it out after a week of being here !!!!

Too many egos and he couldn't control it that is why he won't manage a big club.

just shows why we went to pot ,you can imagine someone of bellamys professionalism being shocked by it all, probably knew straight away with the ego's we had we would never do it .

Wish I found the time to do it within a day or a few days even. But a great read not just about him but how a Football career works over the years. :ayatollah:
