Swansea and Cardiff battle to win race for Gomis.

On paper, if these were his options, he'd go to Swansea as they are the more established team and have European football. Our only hope would be in the uncertainty of Laudrup still being there at the start of the season and perhaps Huw Jenkins' budget policy.

Swansea are not going to pay £12m for him, and I would be very surprised if we would, I see that Huw Jenkins is still chasing players, that the "CLUB" has identified, not Laudrup, sounds like a abromovich without the money

I don't think he'll go for anything like 12m.

Jenkins has taken Swansea’s transfer plans into his own hands after severing ties with manager Michael Laudrup’s agent Bayram Tutumlu .

Swansea still fear the row could lead to Laudrup’s departure, particularly as the Dane has made it clear that he and Tutumlu will keep working together.

Tutumlu did little to ease worries that Laudrup could be tempted away by French club Paris Saint-Germain, with the 49-year-old coach’s daughter due to study in the French capital.

Hmmmmmm ;)

It'll be nowhere near £12million and I'm sure they will be other teams aware of his availability now.

You read to much newspapers. WTF has tutumlu got to do with swansea's transfer policy, he works for laudrup not the club. That is why he has been told to fu*k off by huw, and swansea dont fear laudrup leaving ffs, even his daughter has taken to twitter to say he's staying at swansea. What else can the man say. :malky:

Perhaps he's seen sense and realised you're a tin-pot club situated in the armpit of Wales. The honeymoon period it's over jack, get used to it.

£12m well spent if he scores 15-20 goals to keep Cardiff or Swansea in the league.

Age and cost is irrelevant if he does the business.

I think you need his goals more than we do which is why i doubt very much we'd spunk 12m on him.I'd be very surprised if Tan or Makay would fork out that kind of money too.6-8m,yeah,but 12m :?

I can't see it being 12m either. I think he's in the last year of his contract,12m would seem a bit excessive.

We may not be watch our pennies as much Swansea but even we wouldn't be paying £12m for a player. He's 27 and in the last year of his contract, add that to Lyon looking to deal and you are talking no more half that amount. At £6m there will be other clubs ahead of us both.

Nice tactic by the jacks they scout shit players in Britain then they go after the player we already scouted with our scouting network. Typical pikey jack cunts.

Isn't that how we signed Roger Johnson?

They had a bid rejected so we upped it and nicked him from them?
