With the 2014 Super Cup being held at the CCS , I am led to believe that Mr Platini and his friends have earmarked a considerable amount of money for the Cardiff City board to to help with specific stadium upgrades which would be required to host the match.

One is room for a media village within the grounds which is why the hotel hasn't been built yet and the area is still fenced off

Other than that probably just internal upgrades

Looking at most European Final venues, in recent years, Uefa do appear keen on a large open platform infront of the main stand for the trophy presentation.

This would take out alot of seating in the lower grandstand , so this could be where some of the cost is being distributed.

I wouldn't of thought that they must have it. Probably improvements on the changing rooms ect

One of the reasons mil stdm hasn't held major euro trophy is there is no media center near by!

Nothing to do with Stadia cosmetics or numbers. this was approved over a year ago. Mainly media, Hosting, and infer-structure in general. advertising electronics and so forth. Hotels are already well booked with EUFA officials.

VT has been in discussions with Platini to fund the installation of red seats
