If we can turn the Stadium into a sea of blue the watching millions and the media will see that we really do want our blue back. Can't wait to see the reaction on Sky and B.B.C.

The 'casual' approach, or scene, is probably the best way of describing it. For those of us (older fans!) who started following football in the 70s or 80s, we just wore ordinary clothes. In other words, whatever was fashionable at the time. Certain gear was fashionable amongst football fans. There is a bit more to it than that, perhaps, but basically it was about fashion. Have a look at Jonathan Owen's short film 'CCFC the movie' on YouTube. Replica shirts started much later, in the 90s. 'Casuals' have long been a feature of football fan culture. Wearing replica tops, in particular, is considered naff. Hope that does not sound too pompousA girl in work once said to me, 'ah, Pavilion!*That's where the football boys go'. (*Shop in town).

I do get the concept of casuals![]()
I'm just saying, if casuals started wearing blue (like Annis) then it would send a huge message, as there are so many people who don't wear colours to our games.
just make sure that our casual gear is mainly blue. Bought a Fred Perry polo shirt recently. Grey, with blue and yellow trim. Got another, blue with yellow trim. Get the gist
