' SOME GOOD NEWS REGARDING CITY'S KITS 2013/14 '

First I am led to believe the Red (Man Utd/Liverpool) look alike shirts did not sell that well on the opening day of the launch of them.
THE NEW BLUE KIT & THE NEW YELLOW KIT WILL BE RELEASED IN AUGUST 2013. THE EXACT DATE OF RELEASE IS UNKNOWN AT THIS CURRENT TIME.

So hold back and wait for the BLUE,even the so called Reluctant Reds, I hate the badge as well, but at least you will be BLUE

I'm a shirt buyer every year, all versions, only this year I won't be wearing the home kit.

However, doesn't it defeat the purpose of NOT lining VT's pocket by buying the red kit if everyone goes and buys the blue kit? He gets his money one way or the other and sees no loss in revenue. We should boycott the store and buy from Karl and Billy. I won't be buying anything else in the store.

I just cannot stay away from buying the official kits, it's a geeky collectors thing and slightly OCD.

It wouldn't sell well considering last season the club held an event with 8,000 people there, PLUS we confirmed the signing of Bellamy, the Bellamy factor changed that completely. People like hearing what they want to hear but I feel the sales haven't been too bad speaking to an employee of the clubshop. Say we sign Gomis or a big name player, people will buy the shirt with that players name on the back. Guaranteed. No signings yet mean no one has a name to put on the back of their shirt

Also say for example we sold the shirt on the victory parade(would have been INCREDIBLY early) but we would have made a fortune

It does sound positive but I feel the main reason they didnt sell well is that there was no announcement of release date. No one new lol.

It may be available in August but surely it will be released sooner then that as we've got friendlies against teams in red
