There are many many footballers who would learn (and benefit) from having a similar attitude.

Well done HH, and thank you for helping to make this a great season, and your contribution to City's appearance in the PL next season.
One season and he did more than some have in several seasons. :ayatollah:

Helguson was someone who was brought here as a impact sub but due to Maynard he found hiself starting a lot more than he thought he would.

Huge respect and top professional. People expected a lot for some reason but everyone knew he was a target man and hold the ball up.

He won some games for us and he was our unsung hero in some games.

2 goals v Ipswich away where he was in the right place at the right time.

3 assists v Blackburn away,

The goal against Hull was some people will remember. Outstanding goal.

Against Forest he got us in the front seat with the goal.

Some games he won a lot in the air and some defenders actually feared him because he bullys defenders and doesn't give up.

Type of player a team needs if you wanna go up in the Championship.

Although that miss v Barnsley home was something I was wondering would we look back on if we didn't go up.

I never understood those who critised HH. The guy was a true warrior, carved from stone. Such crucial goals at crucial times.

Did the perfect job for us. We owe the fella a huge debt of gratitude.

That Blackburn game was some of the best work buy a striker I'v seen down the city.

He completely dominated them all game. My favourite player last season.

I just wish we could have had him five years ago at his prime.

Totally agree with that.

I will remember him for that goal against Hull but will always think if we had the likes of him 5 years ago where we would be now. Most likely well established in the premier.

I have a feeling Malky will be baselining new players on a HH 5 years ago.

Spot on a fantastic professional, I think he should have another season with a promotion pushing Championship team like Forrest or maybe Leeds if they are going for it this year...

One of my favourite Cardiff players due to his sheer hard b*stard nature. I remember watching him play for Watford against us a while back and thinking what a nasty b*stard he was back then. Did a great job with us and will boss the Icelandic leagues.
