Apart from the re brand you have to admit that things are going well for the club and there are exciting developments on the way...quality new players, extra seating, stadium expansion, big screens, training ground Langston debt sorted...,all promised and I fully expect to happen in the near future..,,it's also exciting that the players we are being linked with are quality that we could only dream about back in the nineties....when I stared watching the club we were trying to get in to the top league with players like Toshack and Clarke and crowds similar to today's but all that was then washed away with years of struggle only intervened by a few good seasons yet we all look back at them days as good times....to be honest they were in many ways and the fact we struggled so hard for so many years makes it all the sweeter to finally get there now....can't wait for the fixtures to come out and I am really looking forward to the first pre season game...lets not make it a re brand thread just a positive thread about the club.

"quality new players, extra seating, stadium expansion, big screens, training ground Langston debt sorted."

Quality new players - No signings yet That'll soon change

Extra seating/stadium expansion - Same thing Its already started going ahead even if its a thousand or so

Big screens - (couldn't care less, I can see the game in front of me, why do I need a big telly) Well at least it means he's put his money in

Training ground - Not sorted Looks like a contract is about to be signed up with City building new training facilities at the Vale complex

Langston debt - Not sorted
Apperently close to be done according to sources on here

Won't be long till he's completed all those promises. :thumbright:

Just have to wait and see if he converts his debt to equity.

As has been said remove the whole rebrand negativity and City have a bright future

Corky, I'm not having a dig or anything, it is a message board and we've all got our opinions. At present I feel very cynical towards the club as I feel that the owner has shown such disrespect for our fans and our identity, yet he seems to demand respect from us!!!! I know things are going well on the pitch, but I find it very difficult to enjoy it given the big black (or should I say red) cloud that hangs over the club.

The only thing I feel positive about at the moment is the Bluebirds Unite movement.

Re: Good news thread

Yes apart from the rebrand I said....Harold I understand by the hundreds of rebrand threads that many that use the Internet are unhappy and rightly so...but this is a good news thread....I am looking forward to new signings and the other things we have been promised I am sure they will happen....there are loads of threads to attack tan and the rebrand but this one was to say positive things about our club...that's all I meant to try to do.

Re: Good news thread

Corky the team on the pitch were superb last season and yes I enjoyed it. :ayatollah: :ayatollah:
Your right and many many other good things are happening at our ground. :ayatollah: :ayatollah:
Season tickets are at their highest ever, crowds are the highest for 40 plus years. :ayatollah:
The Big guns are coming to us next season and were going to them. :ayatollah:

But if and I mean if only Tan had just let us be, He could of been our greatest Chairman ever and my best ever season, but sadly were still talking about other things and its dividing us and hurting fans like myself.

Lets hope Tan now at least makes us Debt Free as promised :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

All right Gavin. As I said to Corky, I have a lot of ill feeling for the way the club has gone about the rebrand. I really, really want to be positive and under normal circumstances I would be like a dog with two dicks at the prospect of a forthcoming season in the top flight. Unfortunately I just feel flat as I have done for over a year, and as a result my posts can end up sounding negative.

I want nothing but the best for Cardiff City, but that is not simply playing in the Premier league, there are far more important things than that.
