How is the second option a choice . No vt no club at the moment unless of course there is a plan in place should tan walk away

We'll have to disagree on that one.
I'm not disputing that the club would almost certainly get relegated if Tan were to leave, but no club??
I didn't believe that it was red or dead last yr (red or struggle, yes) but if the club are sensible and don't spend money on players on outrageous and unsustainable wages, don't build the training ground and don't expand the stadium (lets be fair, neither are absolute necessary, the club will survive without them) then the club will be in a position to part company with Tan and still survive perfectly comfortably.
The PL money changes an awful lot of things.
The club is also a saleable asset for the first time in many years.

Actually im a reluctant red and appreciate what VT has done for the club.
I hoped that in the here and now the BU realise they may just push out VT and the consequences of that.

The club is also a saleable asset for the first time in many years.
And there lies the difference Alfie if tan had pulled out last year we would have been able to trade for another couple of months that all.
I would love to see us still playing in blue but at the moment I don't see any alternatives and I certainly don't see anybody who disagree with that opinion come up with any evidence or financial plan to back up their opinions.
If tan said tomorrow ok it's back to blue and I'm off but I'm taking the premiership money to pay the clubs debt back to me how would we survive.
It's alright saying we are a saleable asset now but we would need another tan like investor to come in and take a gamble on us not being relegated and there did not seem to be many of them around two years ago when we were in the high court being wound up by HMRC.
If tan goes ahead and pays Sam of in the next few months that will take up a large portion of the premiership money and we will still be reliant on him pumping money in to get us through the season.

That's right.....no mention of walking away like some have been brainwashed into believing.
When this was said the best way new investors would be found is getting us to the premier. Hence why I believed Tan would have still invested if we stayed blue. He needed us in the premier to walk away without loss of face.
