Virgil van Dijk: Expected to be on the move this summer
The Seagulls were strongly linked with the Holland U21 international in January, but no deal was put in place, while Cardiff are the latest club to be linked the the player.
It has been suggested that they will return to the table this summer, with van Dijk having maintained his high standards over the second half of the 2012/13 campaign.
Brighton are, however, currently dealing with issues regarding their management and have yet to make a move.
Van Dijk's representative is confident interest will come, be that from Brighton or elsewhere, with clubs having until the end of August to get their transfer business done.
Henk Maarten Chin told RTV North: "There is no concrete offer from a club to take Virgil van Dijk from Groningen.
"The transfer window lasts a long time and I am confident that there are still clubs interested.
"He is open to any club where he can continue to develop."
