Does Tan really know about BU..?

Thu Jun 13, 2013 5:01 pm

Just wondering whether he has even heard about the organisation or are the people inside the club trying their hardest to stop any information about the campaign getting to Tan..?

Re: Does Tan really know about BU..?

Lets be realistic here, Tan doesn't give a damn about BU.

Remember the 25% comments?

As long as people continue to flood through the turnstiles to watch the team in red then nothing will change.

Unfortunately thats what I think too and the sad fact about is it that whether people accept it or not the only way Tan is going to listen is when the campaign starts effecting income

What about wearing blue doing that, walking through the turnstiles.

Tan only cares about the cash in the till, he will not care if you've got a blue shirt on, a red one or your finest Polo top from Primark.

He is not a football fan, he's a businessman.

In my opinion, the only way Tan would start to consider even discussing the colour issue was if the attendance started to drop and the tills started to become empty.

He knows this won't happen.

Only my opinion of course

I remember watching a news report on West Ham fans years ago on how the old'South Bank working class type fan were getting priced out of the game. This was a precursor to the majority of top flight/championship club fans all having their own grievances with the modern game. It's f*cking typical that it had to be us on the end of such a ridiculous notion of changing a clubs colours. I agree with what you say though and Tan is a dictator who doesn't do reason or compromise. He's a ruthless businessman who we're stuck with whether we like it or not

Really guys?

So if Tan is only interested in attendances then surely playing in blue would make attendances bigger?

Dont be so ignorant. If Borley knows then you can be sure Tan knows.

How am I being ignorant? Please explain.

I said Tan doesn't care and explained why I thought this. I did not say Tan isn't aware of BU.

Tan only cares about money. If BU can convince Tan being blue will make him £££ then we'll be back in blue.

BU probably represent near f**k all of the overall support inside the stadium

Tan will make more money playing us in blue. For a start there will be more fans in the stadium.

Now will the loss of fans playing in red be made up with the Far East market preferring the new colour? Only in Tans mind and no one elses. Thing is it is pointless telling him he is wrong because he does not care.

More chance of getting Far East investors in red rather than blue, that's the plan so that will make the club more money not a few more fans in the stadium who love blue, and attendances and season ticket sales are still high now anyway so your point about getting more fans in the stadium cos of the blue is wrong sorry

Re: Does Tan really know about BU..?

No its not wrong. If we were in blue there would be a few more thousand in the stadium.

Not fact just your opinion, thousands of new kids gonna be following cardiff city in red in the premiership delivered by tan anyway so the new breed are taking over from the old breed who decide to stay away cos they love blue so new breed filling their spaces so dosent matter really does it

Re: Does Tan really know about BU..?

Thu Jun 13, 2013 9:23 pm

Bakes lets be honest a few hundred not a thousand if we were blue..

Bakes attendances won't make a difference if we are in blue now, we are premier league so it doesn't make a difference if we are blue, red or green.. more people will turn up because we are prem now.

Ent supporting it with more people turning up but it is going to happen.

Oh I see. Its not fact because its my opinion but its ok to say I'm wrong.

So because of the new kids the red is going to swamp the stadium. Well I don't think that is going to happen, just my opinion.

VT wants us playing in red, Have a dragon symbol, A better training ground and PL football. He wants us to be attractive to potential investors in the far east. He wants to make a quick buck it's obvious to me.

Well I would question that. The pro reds have been using figures to suit their own agendas last season. One such pro red used the club database of 250,000 to belittle the 700 Trust members who voted for a return to blue. Yet the same person who led a protest against Ridsdale bragged about 2,000 marchers from a ST holders of 18,000 to claim a good turnout. The same tactic was used to belittle the anti rebrand brigade where it was claimed only 50 supporters walked away. Indeed 50 did ask for a refund but there were a lot more who simple did not renew. If a proper search was done I would be confident that over a 1000 walked away last season.

Well, he does.. Hence his comments at Supporters dinner about fans wearing and singing blue songs is silly.

Not as silly as your farcical rebrand Vinny!!
