mugging off Bluebirds Unite....

Thu Jun 13, 2013 7:48 am

This not aimed at all those who have reluctantly accepted the red. just the low life who feel they have a right to slag of fans who are protesting against it. Im wondering what the cut off point would have been for these knobs. I'm betting if Tan had changed the name of the Club to
the dragons they would still be lying in their beds with a hard on thinking ""oooh Man Utd at home on saturday""" they dont care about the colour. badge. name or even the debt. they just want to be able to say "my team is premier league"... The most vile examples of modern football fans. "take our colors take our name take our badge take our history - i want MOTD" not only that but they revel in it "look at me i am a red, but i will be watching Man Utd at home next season" one thing for sure, next time City hit hard times, at least we know these fuckers wont be standing up to be counted.

Yep that will really get those not on board with BU on board.

Threads and opinions like this just push people further into not caring about having blue back.

The secret to the future success of BU is understanding why people are not fully on board and appealing to them in a different way.

Re: mugging off Bluebirds Unite....

Thu Jun 13, 2013 8:54 am

I support the Bluebirds Unite but people are entitled to an opinion and if that is knocking down their idea then just accept it.

In fairness there are some decent people well a lot of decent people in the BU who come across friendly and want people onboard to join them and they make their reasons to join BU very easy which is by wearing Blue being proud etc.

If theres people like you in the BU I won't be surprised that their slating it.

As long as they get rid of the AMF s**t then that will be good.

The AMF thing is cringey and embarassing.

You don't necessarily have to agree with them, but all opinions are welcome on this forum.

A forum populated by people who agree on everything wouldn't last 1 season!

see my post werent aimed at everyone who has accepted the red. there are good reasons for accepting it. perhaps they are not a long time City fan and dont feel the same ties to our history. fair enough, i can accept that. but for people to come out with little digs at the BU for standing up for something they believe in is pathetic and i truly believe the Premier League means as much to these fans as Cardiff City does.

It would help if you actually told us who is slagging you off (I mean specifically not the generic 'plastic' fans label) and just what did this abuse consisted of?

The trouble with Message Boards is thin skinned posters can take an alternative view as a personal attack rather than what it is 'an alternative view'

BTW don't tell me if you attended the Charlton game you didn't chant "We are Premier League" along with 26000 other Bluebirds.

Again who are the posters who have made little digs at BU and exactly what did they say?

And this is what I HATE most about the rebrand!!! The fan divide and bickering it really makes me want to stop going to the football and that's what so sad about it all.

If the Blues want to try and get a petition going let them

If the reds are just happy to buy the red and wear it just leave them to it

I hate the rebrand but I really enjoy supporting my hometown club so I still attend every game and I do it by wearing my traditional Blue tops, that is the way I try and get my point across to Tan. if enough people wear the blue and don't buy the red Tan will lose money and either dig his heels in, change the kit back to blue or walk away.

at least then I know that I haven't contributed any money through buying merchandise and I have helped keep the stadium looking blue on match day

Re: mugging off Bluebirds Unite....

FAO Sian (Bluebirds Unite),

1. Do you want Tan out?
2. If not, how do you propose a return to blue with Tan at the club?
3. Is the groups aim to push for blue back or to just keep blue in the know so if the bubble does burst it's an easier transition back?

Forgive me if I'm wrong, there is a lot of misinformation flying around, I just want to know the score before giving the group my full support.

------
No answers as expected. I wonder why. I'll mug them off all I like because some clarity is a must. When I sign a contract I want to read it, when I give something my support I want to know what it stands for in fine detail

FANS OF THIS CLUB HAVE A DIVINE RIGHT TO KNOW EVERY LAST MINOR DETAIL OF BLUEBIRDS UNITES TRUE STANCE BEFORE PLEDGING SUPPORT.

If you don't believe that to be the case then you are just as much of a dictator as the man you claim has ruined the club. So far, when BU has been criticised the people who've done so have been abused as if its some angelic group that does not need to be questioned and should just been blindly supported.

I would like the questions above answered. The fans deserve the truth for once and some clarity. If you are unwilling to answer the above I guess that tells us reluctant reds everything we need to know.

Ignorant little boy.I was hoping as a reluctant red that BU was the start of something that would embrace the changes that was long overdue for this club and not alienate fans that had a more pragmatic view of the situation.I can see now I was wrong.

It is perfectly correct for you to ask these questions but unfortunately the only response we seem to get is "stripped of heritage/history/identity" generalisations.

The problem is we KNOW that what we want to know is the answer to the above questions which are about what BU intend to do to achieve their aims? (please spare the "we will fight for what we believe in" quotes what we want to know is how?)

Whilst generalisations will go down well with those without any concept of consequences, we the great middle ground of support (yes the reluctant reds) want to know more and an explanation would be a great start.

Unfortunately, having seen the rhetoric of Sian on this board I can't see me having any appeal to BU. It is a shame because there is definitely room for such a group within the Bluebird family, but she needs to move more to the middle ground if she is to be successful and attract the MAJORITY of fans to her cause.

BU are the BNP version of KCB. KCB were like the EDL running around like headless chickens screaming blue murder and BU are just the political guise with the same extreme underlying motives.

I'm sorry but why can't people slate Bluebirds Unite? Making the stadium blue isn't going to send Tan a message, it's just going to show that people still like the blue in the stadium, the thing is he calls the shots, he saw Brighton home and enjoyed the image of a sea of red. What he won't make in merchandise over here, he will make in income streams from the Premier League and merchandise in the Asian market. Bluebirds Unite are organising a family day, tell me what does that get? Will Tan care that people are getting their face painted and people are on a bouncy castle? No. The only thing that BU do that can prove how much Blue means to them is to protest. No more pussy footing around, I wouldn't protest as I don't have a care but it's time to grow a set of balls.

A family day was an end of season get together and it guaged what kind of depth of feeling there was for the blue.
a few hundred turned out. couple of weeks later almost double turned up for a meeting to decide what form the
protest will take. a pretty normal sequense of events for newly formed groups
