No offense but seriously what is this going to achieve? Tan deems his vision more important than ours. Theres only place for one vision at Cardiff City FC, Tans or ours. We can tell Tan how much we love our history, im sure the guy already knows to be fair but being knowledgeable about something doesn't mean you have to give a toss about it.

insider wrote:Now you can rubbish any campaign you like but you can't tell me that 99% of city fans would want to be playing in blue rather than red so why rubbish peoples endeavours?

Because as the poster pointed out in that thread its pissing in the wind. We either accept Tans vision of red or we force Tan out and instill our vision on the club, the vision of blue that is our traditional ways. Bluebirds Unite would be far better just trying to get Tan out. That is the only way blue will ever return at Cardiff City FC. Thats just being honest. If you want Tans money, fine. If you'd rather a blue kit and take the consequences of forcing out, fine. Thats your decision but there are only 2 options. There is no utopian option of Tan continuing to invest and us returning to blue.

alfie sherwood wrote:
Hallelujah! Spot on. The PL £££ is THE game changer.

If the PL money is the game changer and you believe the club no longer need Tan why haven't you, one of the most ardent opposers to Tans rebrand set up a TAN OUT campaign?

Top Gun Chippy wrote:The so called 'red or dead' has gone so the fear factor of standing up to the bully has also gone.

No ones stood up to the bully though. Standing up to the bully would be telling Tan where to go and we dont need him. Even Bluebirds Unite's petition doesn't go that far implying Tan still is an asset to this club and people want him (and his red vision which comes as baggage) around. The fear factor is still there, either that or most just dont care.

pengedragon wrote:or pay off the debt, possibly get relegated, and be run like a normal football club not reliant on the next headcase to come along

which is what could happen if we force Tan out but no one is willing to do it. I wonder why....

bobh wrote:Why do some people still feel the need to have a pop at others who feel passionate about the club's history and colours.
Is it because they have embraced the red, but inside feel it is wrong, so must try to justify their stance (and failing miserably) by mouthing off?

No its because the constant moaning about it is annoying and you claim to be doing something about it but you're not really. You still go to games. You still fund Tans vision and business strategy for our club and you do not want Tan out, which is the only way of us returning to blue. If the pro blues actually said 'WE LOVE BLUE SO MUCH WE'LL FORCE TAN OUT' you might get some respect. I dont mean in the juvenile KCB way but a professional Tan Out Group. The piss in the wind attempts aren't impressing anyone. Its kind of like the SS saying they hate Hitler but still doing service and helping his vision along.

JamesWales wrote:They aren't calling for Tan to go, they are calling for respect of the clubs identity.

Thats the point. We already know Tan doesn't give a shit about the identity. If he did he wouldn't have rebranded us in the first place. Only way of getting blue back is forcing Tan out.

--------------------

tl:dr version: IMO Bluebirds Unite is contradictory.

To get blue back we must force Tan out. However Bluebirds Unite doesn't want to force Tan out. Therefore how can Bluebirds Unite get blue back if it doesn't want to force Tan out and the only way of getting blue back is to force Tan out?

Serious question. Why not just say 'WE'RE BLUE. TAN OUT'? Its the only way of blue coming back.

You're obsessed with trying to stop any attempt at a return to blue

Re: FAO CCMB Members - ref: Bluebirds Unite

Dear me.. Why don't you go and tell them on CCMB?

I personally would rather see Tan leave. For a number of reasons, not JUST the red shirt.. The way we are slowly moulding ourselves into this Malaysian entity that just happens to play in Cardiff.. That's just my opinion though.

The majority want to WORK with Tan & make him realise that the majority of fans would prefer to see us in blue at home. He has currently said that won't happen.. I don't think so either, but as this gathers pace, it could make things far more awkward.

Things happen because of the majority vote.. If you don't agree, fine. Let people get on with it though - they are free to "waste their time" as you see it.

totally agree baz.if sian etc want to spend their time fighting for what they believe right then good on em.if the op believes it a waste of time then fair enough but surely the continual rehashing of BU bashing posts is the biggest waste of time?.how anyone can judge for sure what effect BU will have is beyond me at this early stage.sure i read it,s for the long term though not just a pre season wonder.

Good then go and start a campaign to get Tan out as one you believe that is the only way we will return to blue and two you seem quite happy telling others to do the same.

You keep saying how Tan won't listen, Tan knows how we feel, How do you know all this? Have you met him? do you know him personally?

If he is a shrewd businessman he won't walk away from his investment, perhaps he's bluffing?

Barry Chuckle you state in your post that you want Tan to leave but who would come in and keep Cardiff City afloat.

As I see it without Tans money we are dead in the water. People keep shouting to the roof tops that now we are premier league we are in a better position so we don't need him.

If that's the case then why hasn't anyone else come in to buy the club?

Our debt is so big that it would take years of premiership money to pay of a slice of our debt, and we are not guaranteed to stay in the premiership.

With Tan on board then surely we are a more stable club.

Perhaps he would leave us in good hands but who does he leave it to. As I see it there are not to many billionaires who are willing to jump on the Cardiff bandwagon as we speak.

If you're such a big fan of his, you'd trust him.

Personally, it's not a matter of trust, it's a matter of CCFC whoring out it's identity to Malaysia. That's why I'd rather he left.

I dont trust Tan tbh. Im just quite happy to take as much money as the club can and then let him go. The more we can rinse out of him the better.

I didn't say I was a Tan Fan.

I just don't see how we can get by at the moment without him.

I would love a return to Blue but I would hate to go back to the dark old days of watching crap football (good days out with the fans etc they were special times) But the football was terrible.

Could we be in the position we are now without Tan?

Re: FAO CCMB Members - ref: Bluebirds Unite

Bluebirds unite may aswell be called Tan Out, because he said if the club reveres back to blue then he will leave, people call tan a dictator but its bluebirds unite that are dictating to him and he puts all the money in so what is that about
