' Cardiff and Swansea after Jonathan Williams '

' It's Cardiff vs Swansea again.. this time over Jonathan Williams of Crystal Palace. '

A day after both being linked with Odemwingie, Welsh pair eye teen playmaker dubbed Joniesta PLUS Bluebirds target Robson-Kanu.

Welsh arch-rivals Cardiff and Swansea are ready to test Crystal Palace's resolve to keep Wales midfielder Jonathan Williams, writes David McDonnell.

Williams had been expected to leave Palace this summer, prior to them joining Championship winners Cardiff in securing promotion to the Premier League through the play-offs.

And the 19-year-old playmaker - nicknamed Joniesta in honour of Barcelona star Andres Iniesta - may yet be on his way to a new club if any of his suitors are prepared to pay £5million.

Palace have already sold winger Wilfried Zaha to Manchester United and are keen to keep Williams, although a significant bid could change that.

It is the second time in as many days that Cardiff and League Cup holders Swansea have been linked with the same player, following reports both are eyeing West Brom striker Peter Odemwingie.

CARDIFF boss Malky Mackay is making a £2m move to bring another Welsh international, Hal Robson-Kanu, to his Premier League new boys, writes Alan Nixon.

Mackay hopes to do a deal with relegated Reading for the powerful, quick midfielder, who will surely fancy staying in the top flight following the Royals' return to the Championship.

Robson-Kanu has risen up the Cardiff wish-list as Mackay has found other potential moves too hard and difficult and the Championship winners have received a quick lesson in top-flight finances.

Cardiff have found it difficult getting their targets and had a quick lesson in premiership finances?
Hope that's not true but probably a load of shit how would this journalist know about every deal we have tried to make.
Talking out of his arse if you ask me can't see Kanu or williams joining us

He's a huge palace fan. Loves the club... No chance of him leaving palace for either of us! Best chance we had was hoping that palace didn't get promoted....

Pass,

but if u look at any of his interviews here's a regular quote: Williams added: "It feels great to have signed a five-year deal with the club I've grown up supporting, watching and playing for. Palace is a major part of my life.

Born in Kent and a regular to palace games as a kid and in more interviews he talks about the games he enjoyed and watched agsinst Brighton...

Please say its true, as he is the best midfielder that Wales have produced since Aaron Ramsey and i feel that Williams is destined for greater things than Ramsey. I hope to god that it is with us, although i cannot see Palace selling him for anything less than £10m, thats one of the reasons that i wanted Palace to stay in the Championship, so that we could have offered Williams Premier League football. But, they got promoted didn't they the b*stards. Please Malky at least try and sign him.

Bloooooobirds.

Think that trumps the Jack bullshit on this thread!

They obviously didn't read the rave compliments he was giving us a few weeks ago... :ayatollah:
