Darran, not been to Alton Towers for many a year but 2 hours seems a long wait during the midweek. What was the rest of the parrk like (event and waiting wise)?

The rest of the ques were no more than 10- 20 mins max , 2 hours was the longest I have ever qued for a ride , there was a que to actually join the que for smiler as well we managed to do everything else in the park by 3pm and the main reason we went was for the smiler. So we thought we may aswell or we would regret it after leaving , its a top ride 14 loops on it apparently a new world record for a coaster beating previous of 10 loops

Went Monday and the smiler wasn't working 6hours travel in total and i couldn't get on gutted
