Say the rumours were true and Real Madrid were willing to fork out £85 million for your prize asset Gareth Bale?
Personally I would sell sell sell, they were a one man band last season, they need to invest throughout the squad to challenge for the top 4, they can't be sure GB can carry them as he did last season.
Whats your thoughts??
(I know this is non ccfc related but it beats rebrand discussion)

I agree. There's no guarantee he will perform as well next season either. I would sell for £50m upwards to be honest. Tottenham won't get a better chance to make that big step needed to become a main stay in the top four.
Especially when there's rumours of Sneijder going for £12m and other top players with experience going for under £20m.

in my opinion the prem league needs gareth bale... but theres no doubt he is a stand out player for spurs and deserves to be playing in champ leagues finals etc...
the best move i personally think would benefit all would be a move to utd.. as much as i dislike man utd, i think he would make a perfect replacement for giggs.

Well potentially a better option now Taggart isn't there. Tho he is still in the background. I had the worry that he would lean on Bale like he did Giggs.

Man City/Chelsea - they culd afford to turn down 85m for one player spurs can't. they culd buy TEN £10m+ players with the
money for bale it wuld be mad not to sell cos they know hes gonna go eventally. one naughty injury and they culd lose a fortune on him

Spurs wouldnt want to sell him to a team within the prem because he will bite them in the ass

Id deffo sell, they could buy at least 4 x £20M top quality players and perhaps they wouldnt be labelled a one man side then

If I was them, I would strike a deal with bale and say for him to give it one more season with Tottenham and if they don't get champions league football they will let him go to another club
Along with this I would invest some money in new players to generally improve their team, as much as bale influenced the team alot last season I feel everyone has overlooked the rest of their team, they don't have a bad squad, with a few improvements they would be easily top 4 without to much hassle, and dare I say it but without bale
