PS4 is not backwards compatible.
PS4 camera is an extra £50
Xbox One does play used games but with a £5 fee.

It is all such a rip off now. You hear the rumours that FIFA on these consoles will be £90? f**k that. Football Manager continuing to show what real value for money is against these money grabbing cunts.

£55 a game it will cost I believe.

Sony have won over a large share of customer after E3 imo.

Just get a gaming PC and be happy, consles suck.

Re: Xbox One vs PS4

PCs are not as good for gaming. Don't care how many PC bum boys say it. I've got an alienware pc and my ps3 is about 50 times better.

For Fifa, Battlefield and pretty much any game where you require fast movement, a console is better.

My PC cost 700+ whereas a console will be alot cheaper.

I also hate steam as it is just a turd of a renting company, dressed up to be a safe, cheap option. No thanks, I'd rather actually own a game over having some invisible ownership contract with a company.

That's because you bought an alienware, i built a pc for about 400 that would out-preform any alienware.

On frames per second my PC is almost double that of my 360 and my ps3

If it was only gaming I'd agree but a console nowadays is about much more than gaming. Mine is used more for entertainment.

It streams my movies from a server straight onto a telly, I get catchup TV from Hulu and all the UK channels and obviously then gaming.

But all of those streaming services are available on the PC and it doesn't take a lot to get a stream from your computer to your TV, the way i see it is i can do a lot more and for A LOT cheaper on my PC than i could on a console, when you take into accounts the price of physical discs getting higher and higher building your own computer is the more economical option than having to purchase online features and hardware.

Not everyone is a genius like you.

My PS3 cost like £180. Also plays Blurays and games alottttttttttt better.

Company of Heroes is good.

Spotify and Itunes are shit. So is Steam. People say they value music and games and then they use companies like Spotify. Lets all be zombies and dribble over streaming sites and media we don't actually ever own in the real world.

It doesn't take a genius to build a computer, only a screwdriver and a little know how, i learned by watching youtube videos.

Just caught up with the reveal, Sony have really outdone themselves and have learnt from the mistakes of the PS3. Can see this new console hitting Microsoft hard.

The thing is PC's cost alot more if you want to run high end games plus you dont get the same gaming catalogue you would on a console. I built my own PC but I wouldnt recommend it to people unless they were keen on gaming as otherwise its just a waste of money

the consoles are 350+ and the games are around 45 now so a console with ten games is 800 plus adding in dlc and monthly fees for online usage the pc actually would come out cheaper than a console, as you know pc games are forever on a market cycle and will go down in price much faster than any console game.

Re: Xbox One vs PS4

Tue Jun 11, 2013 11:54 am

You get what you pay for.

No one can tell me Fifa, Battlefield, GTAV, Madden, Forza will be be better on a PC. Im getting those for the PS4 then I'm done.

PC games go down in price because for the majority they are not very good.

True but most people want to use consoles because they are easier to use and they are there jsut for gaming. This is why I think the Xbox is going to suffer as theyre making it too much of an entertainment system.

Re: Xbox One vs PS4

all of the games mentioned will be on the pc and will come down in price faster than either console.

and yes the ps4 will far outweigh the Xbox but for me its all getting ridiculously expensive so ill stick to my pc.

Re: Xbox One vs PS4

Microsoft has always been about getting the extra penny out of people.

Sony are always about getting the money but they also try to be fair at the same time.

Apart from easy hacking on PS3 everything is brilliant on there.

Re: Xbox One vs PS4

Tue Jun 11, 2013 3:13 pm

So you won't be able to play PS3 games on the PS4? Was always gonna stick with Sony, Microsoft have lost out big time here. A massive change in the next gen

PS4 is backwards compatible. An entire library of games from other gen consoles will be put online to download.

True, but the aesthetics of just having a small black box attached to your TV beats having a PC next to the living room TV if you want it via HDMI

Re: Xbox One vs PS4

Tue Jun 11, 2013 5:00 pm

I have a gaming PC and its a top end self build and it depends entirely on what you play.

1) Ports are terrible. Rockstar who make GTA port games terribly for PC
2) Whilst there are games online such as League of Legends, Skyrim online, they lose out on console exclusives etc.
3) A console is easier, less issues because the game has been coded towards one hardware type - PC's are made up of all different types of hardware so requirements here and there are different.

The 2 best games i've played on PC are Far Cry 3 and Skyrim. I play FIFA on PC but i'll probably go back to console for FIFA because of the exclusives they're getting next gen from EA.

I'd be PC gaming all day long but the missus likes her house nice and tidy and I'm now too old to claim being a kid and living in a pit. :D

just watched the e3 for xbox and it does have some cool games coming out but im just not willing to have a online 24hr check to be able to play games and if it doesn't get checked you cant play your game but watch films etc, little sweetener is 2 free games eachmonch on xbox 360 till xbox one is released but still not worth always online hard to tread games etc im going back to sony now even though you have to pay for a playstation plus to play multiplayer games online the other stuff like Netflix etc is still free as with current xbox 360 you have to pay for those services, sony will have a lot of new fans now unless Microsoft will change their polices before release or if sales are shocking they have the ability to change it anytime
