Gareth Rogers takes a look at the latest transfer rumours surrounding Cardiff City on the web.
Could Liverpool wing Oussama Assaidi be on his way to Cardiff City?
Cardiff City boss Malky Mackay could be set for a late bid for Liverpool winger Oussama Assaidi – according to reports on Twitter.
The Morroccan has been told by Brendan Rodgers that he can leave Anfield and looks to be close to a move to Portuguese giants Sporting Lisbon as part of the Reds' bid for Tiago Ilori.
But Rodgers' close links with Bluebirds boss Mackay means a move for the 24-year-old Morocco international made just 12 appearances in all competitions following his arrival from Heerenveen for £2.4million last August, could be likely.
A source on Twitter has today claimed that the winger, who was an unused substitute for the final game of the campaign against Queens Park Rangers, didn’t start a single Premier League gameis close to a move.

Well he's been hyped up a bit so it's at least worth asking if we can take him on loan for a season with an option for permanent signing.

Very, very good in the Eredivisie for Heerenveen. Have him playing like that and Assaidi would turn out to be a fantastic piece of business.
