Why wait to announce signings?

Apparantly we have already tied up deals for a few signings but I was just wondering what could be the reason/reasons why they haven't been announced yet?

Most likely. Some deals have been wrapped up already.

Just because its said on here doesnt make it true.

If there are deals tied up then maybe it's because , the players involved are still under contract until July 1st.

I was thinking , usually when we have heard about signings in the past they when the players have had a photo with the shirt so maybe this is why, waiting for the player to have a photo with the shirt to announce it

Our club is doing the right thing. Better to announce when all the formalities are sorted than early and possibly mess up a deal. Kim's deal took ages to announce.

Also bare in mind verbal agreements are seen differently across Europe and the world in terms of the law.

Couple of youngsters and Leon Barnett is my guess. if it was a significant signing the press would be on it by now

I think that there's been many occasion where it's clear that you can't believe everything you read on here.

Sky asked dave whelan yesterday if he had received any bids for his players since relegation. His reply was no and that it was far to early yet as players and managers were on holiday this time of the year and to expect movement towards the end of the month.
