I've been told we're in for him, he's out of contract, Villa, Southampton and us have been speaking to him. Malky has been scouring for French talent, sort of doing what Pardew done. If he signs, Flamini won't be the only french signing I promise. Exciting times for us

Good player, impressed me when he was at arsenal.

When you look at the calibre of clubs he's played for, he'd be a very decent signing.

I wouldnt be surprised if he stays in italy. I think that hes got alot of italian blood in him, even though he was born and played in france.

Which makes him French, not Italian....

Would be a good signing. Can also play in defence if we need cover.

Would be a great player for a club our size. Wages might pose a problem though

He only left Arsenal due to a contract dispute as well, so yeah wages might be a problem but I think with him it'll be a much better signing than O'Neil

Surely it makes him Albanian?

Not sure he's all that motivated by the money. he took a huge cut in wages to stay at Milan last year
trouble is, all the foreign players come here for the dish despite what they might say. hed be an
excellent signing

I can't see it happening but when he was at arsenal he was excellent and exactly the type of player we need.

Flamini eyes Prem return
Having turned down a new offer at AC Milan, Ex Arsenal Frenchman Mathieu Flamini looks set to be on the move. The 29 year old has insisted that a move to England would be ideal and that he has options to consider:
Flamini told ‘The Sun’ newspaper:
“I’ve had some good offers but I want to take my time and decide what direction I will take,” said Flamini. I like the pace and the physicality of English football and I like that every game is very open. What’s important is to be in a team which has a good project, good ambitions and abilities.”
“I miss England and I want to win the Premier League. It has a special place in my heart. I like the pace and the physicality of English football, and I like that every game is very open.”
“When you are a competitor, what you want is to be successful. And to be successful, you want to win trophies.”
Flamini’s talk might suggest that he has offers from England already and we are doing our best to find out which clubs are interested in the player. The Frenchman has stated, however, that if his preferred option of England was not available, he would look elsewhere.

No, Cesar said he wanted to win the league
with QPR within the next few seasons.
I wouldn't be surprised if Mark Hughes was promising the signings for a title challenge when talking personal terms with big names, either.
