Apparently Tan was going to be out the country till August, so it was all cancelled.
Yet Tan has been back and for to Cardiff and London non stop since the season finished. Hmm

Trouble I see with this annis is that the trust has a very small membership. Tan has turned around in a television interview and said he is quite happy to alienate or lose 25% of the current support as he believes they will be replaced. Therefore with the best will in the world I don't see him giving them or the supporters club the meeting they desire.

I see but whats the point in a supporters club and a club trust if the club will not be seen to have anything to do with them on such issues we all know about, do you think thats the rite way steve?

No I don't think it's the right way ian as supporters are the lifeblood of the club and there should indeed be dialogue between all parties.
I believe it would need the trust, supporters club and both message boards to come together to form a large organisation that the club could not ignore.
Whilst everybody,s preferred option seems to be the trust I believe their membership numbers are to small to have any significance or impact on tans thinking

Steve, I can understand regarding the Trust as they have hardly any numbers/members etc , but regarding the Supporters Club I thought he would of met Vince Alm.
Maybe Bluebirds Unite given support and a chance will get recognised enough to get a meeting one day.
I found Tan the opposite to what certain people within our Club had led us to believe, You can speak to the man.

I was at the supporters club dinner annis where a few people made their feelings clear to tan but it meant nothing to him as he laughed it off and carried on with his lucky red dialogue.
I agree with you that you can talk to him but I also believe that whatever valid points you might make he will still ultimately do what he wants.

If thats True Steve that after a conversation with him, it just goes over his head, then I have totally NO Respect for Tan at all.

This is the truth here. Tan doesn't care. He has his beliefs, red is lucky and good. We have ours. He's in the driving seat and hes unwilling to listen. He said at home we'll always be red. The only way Tan will listen is for 25% of fans (or customers) to stop going and stop buying his rebrand driven merchandise.
As we've just got promoted, 25% are not going to stop going. As suggested to Bluebirds Unite via Twitter, if they can get a NO ATTEND event going that would speak a lot more. Tans customers not turning up and catering to his demands. If people are pissed off with TESCO they dont shop at TESCO. If someone like myself hates Murdoch they dont subscribe to Sky or buy his papers. Same thing really to Tan. He sees the club as a business, nothing more, nothing less.

With our football club there is no alternative you either support Cardiff City or you simply don't have a team anymore , there isn't another professional Cardiff team

If there was a true and just cause then yes I would do so. Not for my own personal preferences Baked, the rebrand does not bother me much. Im a young fan who is happy enough to see his hometown club doing well and Cardiff City FC in the PL and all the positives that come with that. However, out of respect for the older fans then yes I would join such a thing to hopefully help the fan base become united again. Ask me this question last year? No, because of the finances of the club. Ask me once the Langston Debt has been settled? Definite yes.
However, I wont support a cause such as Bluebirds Unite that is aiming to try and convince Tan to change his mind. Its a waste of time and he cant be reasoned with. Its not that I dont want blue back, its I dont think the aims are attainable.
There is no chance he would change his mind. I commend their efforts and willingness to stand up for something and its not their faults that Tan can be reasoned with. Thats just the man he is. He makes himself look the fool on camera. Deep down he is a very intelligent and heartless businessman. Thats whats got him to the top.
Remember, this ain't a guy who gives two hoots about business ethics or morals, look at his track record and involvement in political issues. He's faced worse than us and hes laughed at us. The reason im reluctantly accepting at the moment is there is no other option. Patience is a virtue. Strategy is key and if we are to get the identity of the club back in the best way possible it will take time and clever planning.
Just because we are reluctantly accepting for the time being it doesn't mean thats our long term aim.

Sky Sports im on about. Whats the alternative to watching the PL games that Sky has the rights for? No other legal option other than going to a pub.

the very fact that its the premier we are in now might see tan have a bit of a change of heart not out of love or morals but cos
as you say if there a sea of blue next season - and i think uts escalating - then he is gonna end up looking a right cock and the club will end up geting the wrong kind of media coverage. "whats with all the blue?" kind of questions and as long as we stick to blue (if we want) and its done with respect then he's got nowhere to moan. we will hold a moral high ground
