On the free transfer list, has an extremely high work rate and has a lot of premier league experience, is he worth signing for a season or two?

Agree would be a great signing, defintley has the quality we're looking for but not sure he has the high work rate and also his wages must be huge.

I only want to sign players, that WANT to play for us, But I'd feel that he would only be after a pay day if im honest. Not a very vociferous person about his career and seems happy to sit on a bench for a wedge.
